In his entire life, he has made lots of uncountable promises. Those that he believed that he could achieve, those that he promised to his lost ones. Those lost ones that will never return. He begged things to change, to take a different route, but never had the courage to start all over again. It is too late for everything, *sigh* it is impossible to change the past.

Akihito worked as a full time cop, helping those in need and arresting those who are doing wrong things. He has seen many difficulties with his job. Those victims who go through a horrible injury due to the bandit,

10 years ago- He life was destroyed,vanished, gone.. His love of his life was never to be seen again. His small child, who he couldn't afford to love and care due to his busy schedule at work was also hopelessly gone. He never spent proper time with them. He always put his work first then family. It is only when his wife and child was torn apart from his bond that he realised how important it is to have a family. This was all because of a criminal case that went out of his hands. Akihito was responsible for this case, but even though the victim said that they will attack his family, Akihito didn't listen. He never believed that the victim could know who his family were. He wishes that he did some action to prevent this. Now he is deep despair, struggling to live his life to the fullest.

Akihito is very close with his partner, Rei for his work.   He tells him every detail of his life. Even those that were made to be kept as promises. But his partner is an understanding, helpful man. He is a rather old bloke, but he is the only one that he trusts with all his life.Akihito takes him as the only closest "family" member. They always work together from dawn to midnight.
