Synopsis
When everything is going too smoothly something is bound to go wrong. It was a good year for humankind as a lot of new technologies had been invented, medicine was advancing rapidly and even cryo Chambers were on their testing phase. During this time scientists noticed an anomaly at a nearby black hole and suddenly the world was in chaos.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Humanity at it's Peak.

It is year 2120, mankind has come so far depending on their intelligence, from making the very first bonfire to making their very first quantum computers. just by depending on their ability to solve complex problems humans have been able to create tools, weapons, houses, agriculture, medicine and much more. right now humanity is at it's Peak and the recent years have been very Fruitful for humanity with constant advancements in medicine and technology. but this will all change soon.

...

my name is Ralph Davis and i am currently traveling with my parents from home to their workplace in Texas. both of my parents are scientists and they have been into cryo technology since they were little and this interest in cryo technology is what brought them together and soon I came into this world.

right now the cryo Chambers that my mom and dad were working on are just about to be finished and today was the day that they wanted me to have a look at what they have been working on since last 15 years of their lives.

I am not into science stuff too much but I had to at least show some interest, as I didn't wanted to make them feel bad, knowing that their only child was not interest in their life's achievement, not to mention that they had to take permission for me being there.

after we reached the laboratory my mom turned towards me and said, "don't go too far away from us, otherwise it might lead to some security problem"

"don't worry mom I am not a kid anymore, I am already 17 and it's not like they will throw me outside just because i am standing a little farther away from you guys", as I said that I looked around the corridor leading to the cryo lab, the place didn't really look like it was a government lab meant for conducting experiments and it looked more like a hospital without the nurses and doctors, with security guards appearing once in awhile, personally I won't really mind some beautiful nurses appearing once in awhile hehehe...

after we entered the lab the scenery changed drastically and the lab looked just like the ones in the sci fi movies. there were 4 chamber like structures right in the middle of the lab with a bunch of wires leading from the Chambers toward the ceiling, with the ceiling looking like a spiderweb filled with cables with a bunch of bigger cables leading towards a giant box in the corner of the room.

a man wearing lab coat appeared in front of my parents and said "Mr and Mrs Davis, the 4 people that will be undergoing the test of being frozen for a day before reanimating them tomorrow have arrived and we are waiting for you to start the test".

mom and dad nodded there heads, then mom turned towards me and said "stand somewhere safe and don't cause trouble".

after my parents went along to start the test, I looked around to see if something catches my eyes. after looking around for awhile, I noticed that the area where the giant box was in was cooler than the rest of the lab, it picked my interest so I slowly went towards the giant box to check why was the area cooler than the rest. as I was approaching the box a girl stood in my way.

"you shouldn't go too near, the box behind me is used to contain the machines that regulate the temperature of the cryo Chambers, and my job is to not let anyone go too near" after telling me so, she looked up and stood pridefully as if she was the one who made the machine.

after taking a look at the girl I could tell she was also near my age, but who knows how old she really is, after all woman are creatures who's age is the hardest to tell. she was also wearing a lab coat, but she didn't look like one of the scientists

"umm... you don't look like a scientist, but now that I look at you, you do look like you have dressed for Halloween, but wasn't Halloween supposed to be a week from now?, did I time travel!!" after saying that I looked her up and down to provoke her.

she knit her eyebrows and said " I am here with my dad, who is the one who designed all the temperature maintenance machines that are in the box behind me and I am unlike someone that is aimlessly gawking around as if he was at a carnival" after saying that she looked at me provocatively.

right as I was about to say something I felt like something warm entered my heart before dissipating

"what?, cat got your tongue?" she provoked me again. but right right as I was about to say something, something happened again. this time, the scientist standing at the opposite end of the room with my parents and other scientist exclaimed "something is going wrong with the equipment, they are starting to malfunction and some of the equipment have straight up stopped working"

everyone around us started moving toward the other side of the room to check what was going on with the equipment, leaving us two alone

"so..." but before I could finish my sentence an explosion occurred behind us, and the only thing that I felt before everything turned dark was cold, chilling cold.

...

an few minutes ago, at an underground facility in Beijing,China testing quantum physics.

"sir, we have found a particle that hasn't been found before" a man with glasses reported to his superior excitedly.

"what?!, how did you find this particle? tell me all of the details, this might be the discovery of the century if this is true!, have you confirmed for any errors?" a man with a bald head and thick beard said excitedly while standing up from his chair and moving towards the man with glasses.

"yes sir we have already conducted the experiment 3 times with the 2 particles being found in a cubic meter of space in the first experiment, 3 particles in a cubic meter in second test and a whole 5 particles in the third test", the man in glasses said excitedly.

the bald man knit his eyebrows as he said "that seems odd, why did the number of particles increase after every test?, let's go and check it out first before anything"

after they reached the experiment lab, the environment seemed to be tense, the bald man noticing this said "what is going on, I need the details of the observations made".

as he said that an older man appeared in front and bowed before saying "sir, after sending someone to report to you we kept on repeating the experiment in order to uncover the mystery of the particle, but..."

the bald man got irritated and said " but what?"

"but the observations made have thrown everything we know about particle physics into the dump, after every time the experiment is repeated the number of these unknown particles seems to be increasing exponentially, not to mention..." the old man looked at his team of scientists weirdly before continuing "the unknown particles seems to be able to alter the properties of anything it comes in contact with before disappearing. after discovering this, the machine that we use to make observations has started to malfunction and not only that but things at microscopic level seems to be changing at a rapid pace right as we speak... I think this might be the end of humanity" after saying that the old man's eyes seemed to be unfocused as he stared at the floor at a loss.

"what?!", the bald man was schocked, he knew, even minor changes at microscopic level leads to massive changes at macroscopic level. if this really continues, science as it is known now would be completely useless and everything that they did in their entire lives would be completely meaningless.

humanity would return to square one and would need to do everything again, it was especially a massive blow to all the scientists across the globe.

...

the same scenario was occurring all around the globe, initially explosions occurred all around the globe as things that were harmless became highly explosive and things that were useful became a bunch of scrap. electricity and internet could not be used anymore, with well known food becoming toxic or not safe for consumption.

after the initial chaos people started to notice super natural powers that appeared in some people, which lead to some hope, but soon humans noticed that they were not so special and soon animals that were below humans on the food chain started to retaliate against mankind with Flora and fauna going under rapid evolution soon after.

with rules of the universe changing so suddenly everything started to change. but what was set in motion, must come to rest. after chaos comes equilibrium. and so, the life on Earth restarted with board set as completely new, with new rules.

humans were able to somehow able to tide through the tough times, but this came at a gigantic cost of human life. humans no longer ruled the planet known as earth, and had to start over from what their ancestors went through and all they had was hope. that one day, they will be able to bring the humankind back to it's peak.
