Silence was all that was in the room. It echoed throughout the infinite expanse of black reaching further than anything imaginable.

A boom of sound passed through his ears. His body weak and aching he tilted his encumbered head upward.
---AWAKEN---
The boom once again filling the still air with echoing whispers almost speaking to the source. This boom however was different. When the boy turned his head off to the right he saw an impossibly small glimmer of light.
His mind, unthinking, unknowing, pushed his body to move forward. He still lay flat on what he could only assume was solid ground as he crawled and crawled and reached towards the light.
---AWAKEN---
This time he felt the plane beneath him shake with the all encompassing bass of the all encompassing voice. With all of the will he had, he could not without struggle, think, move, or act.
/MOVE/
His thoughts now manifested into actions. His thoughts could gauge cloudy ideas yet he could clearly feel that he was approaching the source.
