In the morning, I awoke in the comforting embrace of Victoria's bosom. I smiled as I unlatched myself from her arms. I looked up only to feel those arms tighten and stare into her eyes. The happiness I saw in them as her face closed and our lips locked. After making out with morning breath, we parted. I showered quickly, feeling my skin was a bit dry from leaving on makeup. I never realized that I would have to clean up makeup. This made me gain an appreciation for what the women in my past did for me. I was happy now, though, with Victoria. I was dressed to work out and joined everyone in the Gym. Li was dancing with Gabby soon after as Music played as we worked our bodies.
At some point, when Li left to start breakfast called an end to the workout. We were all left with sweat dripping down our bodies from the exercise and separated into our respective rooms. I cleaned myself up and joined everyone in the kitchen to eat the food prepared. The meal was delicious, and we all broke off to do some morning things. I checked in on the investigation, knowing it was still too early to come to any conclusions. After that, I went downstairs to check on the work and to see Victoria.
I spent a little time before the Elevator arrived. I went down and saw a flurry of activity with contractors working. I stepped inside and saw Victoria talking to a man nodding along. The outfit he was wearing was perfectly tailored to bring out his attractive features. I stepped up beside Victoria as I looked at the condo that was under heavy construction. Large server cages were being brought in with more hardware inboxes.
Victoria was deep in talking to the man as I stepped up beside her. "The Servers need to be in a room of their own. I care little about the design of the room. You are here to reduce the amount of space all my equipment is set up comprehensively. I understand you are not a lab tech and are an interior designer. These are my requirements for this. After that, please make it look more pleasing for those who will have to stay here long term. I don't want the assistants I hired to be in a cramped space they can barely live." She finished as the well-dressed, attractive man was quickly putting down notes.
"How are things going?" I asked as Victoria turned as if looking for something. She had a small jump, being startled that I was here. Her face then broke into a smile seeing me. She leaned down, and I match her pecking her lips. "So, how is the rework?" I asked with a smile.
I was then unleashed on all the things going on. The condo's upper floor would be the place's living space, whereas the bottom floor would become a working lab. The Contractors were working hard moving wiring and increasing the power expenditure. It was heavily under construction, so there was not much to see at this point.
When Victoria finished the small tour, my phone alarm went off. We held hands and went towards the elevator, leaving it to the crews to continue to work. We entered my condo before parting to enter our pods. We separate with a peck on the lips before we went. I entered into the pod, watching the lid shut on me, bringing me into the world.
My eyes opened into the game world. I got up with a groan to see the frozen stare of Fidel. She looked at me coldly, and I wanted to tease her out of that shell seeing her face. She put up a finger to her lips. I was startled and started to look around.
Iona and Gloom were staring out into the forest. In the distance, I saw it. Humans were walking around in packs of two looking. The ward in place made them instinctually leave the area without realizing it. Viccy woke up a couple of seconds later. I put a finger to her lips, showing her to be quiet. Her expression turned serious to match the rest of ours.
We all watched in silence as three patrols eventually left. They stepped away, cursing looking for traces. When they all left, I turned to Iona, Fidel and Gloom. "What happened?" I asked the ladies, and they all except Fidel Sighed.
"About two hours before you and Viccy awoke, they came out from the cavern yesterday. They started searching for us. They must have found that their defence was killed and are now looking for the culprits." Iona took charge and said.
I thought about it and realised this was a chance or doom. "We have two options, in my opinion. First, we kill the patrols. This may bring more people towards us if we are discovered. This will be beneficial that we can clear out the guards right away with large early risk. Or we can go into the belly of the beast and have chances of our escape being cut off by the patrols. That being said, attacking into the belly of the beast would allow us maybe to face less resistance in the short term." I finished my analysis.
Viccy cut in straight away. "Kill the patrols. We don't want to die. If we kill above the cavern, we can always retreat. Even if we retreat, we have finished this quest and can tell the adventurers guild about this. They will come with larger, more experienced parties and deal with this threat if we do. If we kill the patrols, we can then 'Dive into the belly of the beast' Knowing we can retreat without much worry." Viccy stated her case. I agreed with her, and Iona nodded seeming to agree with her.
Gloom then spoke up. "Killing the patrols needs to be done silently, and the bodies need to stay hidden. Is there any way to leave them in the camp, Elli?"
"I have not done much practice in the Permanent wards as I should have, but as long as I guide you inside, we can bring the bodies here to dump them. This is a good idea, Gloom. This will take the bodies out of the picture, giving us more chances." I replied.
"It's not perfect blood from kills will also attract wolves. This can't be helped, though. Two more questions how much longer do we have? and do you have to stay inside the ward to guide us in?" Gloom asked.
"I can guide you in from the outside without needing to stay inside so I can go with you ladies. For the first question, we have till mid-afternoon before the wards lift." I finished.
"Let's get started now then," Gloom said, standing up getting ready for combat. Everyone joined her, checking gear and getting ready to attack the guard's post haste. Viccy and I took the longest to get ready before we were all set to go. We cleaned up the camp, knowing staying here another night would not be the brightest idea after this morning's events.
With that, we left being as silent as we could. We left the ward to our flank, hoping to decrease the odds of being discovered. Soon we came upon a group of three looking into a creak talking.
"Damn man, I can't believe the Head guard was taken out like that, That dude was fearless, and he looked like he died running into the wall. What is wrong with those people!" One said to the other two. The other two behind him while the one who just spoke looked into the water turned to see the world around him change. He was alone in this vast blizzard. "Where-" He started to yell when an arrow landed into his throat, cutting off the words as his world went dark.
"That was a great illusion. The confusion doesn't even let him see the two dead comrades in front of him." Gloom said as she picked up one of the three fresh corpses. "It's frightening he can not even smell the blood that is near him."
"It takes more mana to do smell as well. He was an idiot, though. You all of a sudden are in a blizzard. Yell as loud as you can; you are in an illusion." I replied, trying and failing to lift a corpse. Iona stepped past me and picked up a corpse in either arm, and we started to head back.
We were all smiling with our first victory, thinking about the next trying to head back to the ward with three fresh corpses quietly.

I want to thank you all for the support. I truly thank you all. I have two things coming up and I would like to announce to you guys issues personally happening to me that might affect my chapter production.
In my life the contract that I am currently working on ends at the end of the month. I work as a security guard that allows me to work so much at my writing. I am fighting to continue working where I work so I can continue working on this. This brings me to this post. I truly enjoy writing. I really love it to be honest and I love all the support and appreciation on my works. I realized more that I want to make this my full-time job at some point in the future if I can.
So have created a P*atreon only book that I will eventually intend to publish on Amazon. This book is called Life of a Dominant Futanari. I am still in the creation of it and It will become a book series. I will not be publishing it on this site at this point.
I wanted to give you an update though on my situation and this will not affect the current releases of my web novels. Thanks for all the support, Comments, Votes, And reviews I appreciate it.
Thanks,
