The day was beautiful, the sky was clear and the wind was blowing ever so gently, Liam was still working, stacking bricks one after the other. Such mundane tasks should be done by machines, a shame those things won't be allocated here, if only our village had people with better bloodlines.
Probably noticing my stare, Liam turned, "Is it time to leave already?" he asked.
"Yeah the sun is already setting.," I answered " Let's hurry back."
By the time we made it back home it was already dark. Dark enough for us to be unable to see the myriad of cars parked outside until we were right in front of them.
"Why is there so many cars here?" I turned to Liam and asked, my voice full of curiosity and fear.
"I don't know." he said cautiously, "Just stay behind me and be quiet."
We made our way in the house as quietly as we possibly could.
"What took you all so long?"
I jumped back startled by this sudden voice. "Wh..who are you?" My brother asked, his voice shaking.
"Tch..thc, these are his children." the man's lazy voice answered, "Why are they such cowards?"
The door was opened by a strange man, no a giant, he had a large muscular, and intimidating body, huge, and towering.
"Take them in,", again he said, in his lazy voice "and tie them up."
"Yes sir."
The giant than took Liam's arm roughly, forcing him to the ground before grabbing my neck and dragging us inside our house. Tying us down in separate corners, Liam first than me.
I wanted to resist, I really did but against that man's giant frame, I could hardly muster a peep, not to mention struggle and my whole body simply went limp.
The man with the lazy voice finally showed himself, he was slender and tall, he had bluish eyes and a devilish handsome face. Most importantly his long silver hair seems to be alive moving on its own.
The man came out of mother's room, There seemed to be something at the end of his hair, it's sagging as if carrying something. Mother?!?!. Why was she being carried by this man. Why was his hair so alive and snake like. What was happening? I asked myself overwhelmed with panic as the reality of this situation starts to set in. My hand was shaking and i could hardly breath.
" Wh..who are you people, Wh.. what do you wan-" Before I could finish my stuttering words, the man's tentacle like hair, stuffed themselves into my mouth, slimy, disgusting and gross. Before I could throw it up, it pressed down further and harder. Whether it was because of the gag reflex, disgusting taste, or absolute fear, tears started to form in my eyes and rolled down my cheeks.
The silver haired man, coldly glanced at my pathetic state, his eyes full of disdain and ridicule. This simply triggered my emotions and before long, my eyes started bawling and I was a crying mess. Â
" I suggest you stop crying, and listen up." the man's lazy voice lowered slightly, "I have better things to do and so i'm not going to repeat myself." with that, to my relief he withdrew the "tentacle" from within my mouth.
I took a deep breath, taking in the fresh air. I tried to prepare myself for what he was about to do. I still hadn't realize that I couldn't possibly ever prepare for what I was about to witness and learn.
