Inside the cultivation room, zai mushen still had his eyes closed and was fully focused in his cultivation. Although his spirit had reached peak level of divine spirit stage in his previous life due to reincarnation it was reduced to intermediate level of heavenly spirit emperor stage.
Zai mushen was at spirit core formation stage, this was the lowest stage in which cultivators formed a core in which their contracted spirit would reside as they reach nascent spirit stage and it would depend upon the contracted spirit which element the cultivator will be able to use. In spirit core formation stage the cultivator will have to absorb spiritual energy into their body as the spiritual energy would turn into speck of dust and attach together to form a core.
The waves of spiritual energy dissapited as zai mushen slowly opened his eyes, he had reached advanced level of spirit core formation stage. He stood up and walked towards the door, gently pushing the door open. As the door opened a light breeze washed over his body as he exhaled the foul air through his mouth.
"I have yet to reach my former stage but still to be able reach advanced stage in spirit core formation stage in only about 8 months of starting cultivation who can do that except for me" shamelessly blowing his own triumph he walked out of the room as he saw bai feng who was guarding outside the room during cultivation. seeing that zai mushen had ended his seclusive cultivation bai feng advised.
"Third young master as you are still a child you staying in seclusion for long is not good for you. Even though spirit energy can replenish our body energy it cannot nurture your growing body. madam too had come time to time as she was quite worried about you"
Hearing that his mother was worried about him
"senior bai let's go and meet mother, I don't want to worry her to much"
After that he walked pass the garden and entered the manor. At the balcony of manor a graceful lady whose was in her thirties was seated on chair while reading a book. Suddenly a pair of tiny hands closed her eyes, knowing to whom the hand belonged to she chuckled. But still she maintained herself and coolly asked
" who is this with tiny hands blocking my eyes??"
" it's me mother, did I make you worry too much?" asked zai mushen with smile on his face as he took his hand back.
" I don't know who you are and why would I be worried about some unknown child?" replied wei qing in serious tone.
Seeming noticing that his mother was angry smile on zai mushen's face disappeared as he went in front of his mother" mother don't be angry ok I will not do it again if you don't want me to"
Not taking his words as genuine wei qing slightly shifted her face not looking at zai mushen's face. Seeing his mother not appeased with his apologies. Tear started flowing through his ruby like red eyes as he still tried to appease his mother while gently pushing his mother's body.
Wei qing turned her face towards zai mishen, as she saw tears flowing down from her sons eyes. she thought' I might have taken it a bit far' She turned around as she picked up and placed zai mushen in her lap as she wiped his tear as she softly asked "will you do seclusive cultivation for long time from now on??"
" no mother I won't " replied zai mushen while looking at his mother with puppy eyes from which tears were still flowing.
Seeing those red puppy eyes wei qing embraced zai mushen while looking at his face" ok mommy will take your words this time if you do it again mommy will not talk with you" Realising his mother had forgiven him zai mushen wiped his tears as he too embraced his mother and replied with his cute voice" I won't if you don't agree with it mother"
" you have not eaten for long so let's have some food" said wei qing as she ordered the maid to prepare zai mushen his favourite dumplings. After sometime dumplings were served to zai mushen as he happily ate it.
Watching zai mushen happily eating wei qing too was happy. After all which mother would like to see their offspring getting hungry. Finishing his dumplings zai mushen wiped his mouth as he climbed onto wei qings lap.
"mother I got something to tell to you"
" go on what is it little shen?" asked wei qing seeing his son quite excited
" mother during my cultivation I have reached advanced level of spirit core formation stage"
Hearing what her son had said wei qing was shocked. who in the world can reach advanced level of spirit core formation stage in only 8 months. Even cultivator with genius talent would require 3 years max to reach advanced level in spirit core formation stage. But her son did it in only 8 months while still 5 years. It was utterly rediculous . So she checked to verify it with spirit sense. Taking a deep breath wei qing suppressed her shock as she was filled with joy. She kissed her sons cheek and put zai mushen down as she stood up " mother is very happy for you, if your father's gets to know he will be mad with joy for having such a son"
After that wei qing went to the office of city lord.

Zai taixuan was quite busy with all matters of city. But suddenly an official knocked his door
"enter" After getting permission the official went in
"city lord, madam has come in person to meet with you "
Zai taixuan raised his head thinking' She never came in my office previously what is the reason for it?'
"let her in " Hearing zai taixuans word the official payed respect as he left the room.
After that a graceful lady whose beauty would leave anyone mesmerising entered the room. Watching the figure who entered the room zai taixuan too stood up and walked to wards her. Zai taixuan pulled her into his embrace while looking at her beautiful face.
" you have never come to my office before what is the matter??"
Wei qing lifted her head with smile on her face" little shen gave a huge shock to me and you too will be shocked by it"
" ohh what is there to make me shocked??"asked zai taixuan
"our little shen has reached advanced level of spirit core formatio...." before she could even complete her sentence. Zai taixuan screamed out"what" due to the scream whole of city Lords office was shocked because the Lord had never screamed like this before.
"have you verified it , is it true??"asked zai taixuan
After being shocked by her husband scream "yes it's true I checked it and he is only a step away from peak level of spirit core formation stage " replied wei qing. After hearing what wei qing had told zai taixuan burst in laughter. Hearing the laughter of city lord all officials who had resumed working after hearing city Lords scream stopped their work.
one of the official asked to the official who had just come back from city Lords office." hey , do you what's the cause for city lord to laugh out like this??"
Hearing his collegues question " no ,I too don't have a clue. but it must be related to city Lords manor"
Inside city Lords office, Zai taixuan controlled his laughter, he was filled with joy as he kissed his wife." I'm very grateful to have such beautiful wife and talented sons thank you my dear. this new should be sent to my father aswell, that old man will be utterly shocked by the news of his grandson. I also got news that wuhen has passed the trial and will be returning in some days" Hearing about her eldest son she had tears welling up." hen'er is coming back why didn't you tell me about it?" making fist she punched zai taixuan in his chest lovingly.
Feeling wronged zai taixuan replied" I too got the news about him just now and was going to surprise you but you instead utterly surprised me with news of shen'er. Let's hold a banquet in the manor when hen'er arrives, but the news about shen'er should not be know to others except for our zai household"
