Chapter 47 - Living a good life

The monsters only managed to get up when it was close to lunch time. The food he had prepared beforehand was all cold food so there was no problem.

They all joined together to eat at the table. Of course, only the leaders ate in the house floor while Jin summoned a feast on the training floor for the other monsters. He had never done much for them apart from creating their house. As such, he believed it was fine to pamper them a little. After all they did fight for the dungeon, for him.

After the long breakfast, the monsters all went back to practise on their own. They liked this lifestyle and were used to living like this. They all loved training and becoming stronger, not to mention fighting. In Jin's opinion, he thought it was just something they were born with since normally, they lived in the wild.

As for Iris and the girls, they all went to work. Normally, Venus would do the job alone with Jin but this time, there was a little more to do.

They went on the training floor and started to look at the casualties. Maybe, the others didn't mind as much as Jin since they were used to see death. However, he at least needed to look at the deceased to replace the fallen. Also, he had a thought about creating a graveyard in the dungeon. But, after further consideration, he knew that in the future there would be more deaths and when the dungeon was going to be big, battles of thousands of death would most likely arise. There was also the fact that they didn't have any bodies when they died so there was not much to bury.

Jin left the job of summoning back the monsters at Iris while he went back on the house floor.

After seeing Venus working, he figured that she may want to have some assistant as she did a lot by herself. Also, permanent guards on the house floor could be a good idea. This way, he wouldn't have to stay there himself. So he called on Venus to talk to her about it.

"You called me master?" She arrived in front of him and took a respected posture to talk to Jin. While they were closer than before, when Jin wanted to talk about something serious, she could see it in his expression. As such, she had started to become accustomed to his facials expression. She believed her job to be able to serve her master at the best of her abilities.

"Yes, I was thinking about summoning some monsters to help you in your duties. You have been working very hard these last few days and we can't leave it like this. Also, they would be used as guardians of this floor. Is there any race in particular you would like to have?"

She contemplated deeply before frowning and answering him. "No, I don't have any preferences, I will leave it to you."

While Jin was happy that she would rely on him one way or another, he would really like if people could help him in choices of monsters from time to time. But, he could only accept.

"Then, I was thinking about dragon kins. Not like Lilliana who can transform either in her dragon or human form but a dragon-man. A human possessing the scales of a dragon, the claws of the dragons, the breath of the dragon to shoot fire and the wings. I believe they may be quite useful and it would help diversify the dungeon since there are mostly girls in the dungeon right now."

When she heard the words 'dragon', Venus eyes sparkled. It could be said that dragons were revered creatures and dragon-man could be said to possess the dragon bloodline while not being able to transform into one. As such, these legendary creatures were normally rare to see. Now not to mention, seeing one, Jin wanted to summon more than one and have them as her underlings. Of course, she would be happy.

She nodded her head really fast and Jin couldn't help but laugh when he saw the fervent look in her eyes.

He went to get the core from Iris who had taken it too summon new monsters and he started the summoning.

A giant magic circle appeared on the grass in the backyard and the circle itself rose higher and higher. One could see legs appearing in their view, as the circle was getting higher and higher. Soon enough, Venus and Jin could see the waist and the hands from the new monsters and when the circle reached their heads, they could see new monsters.

The dozen dragon men that Jin had summoned as servants for Venus and guardian of the floor had silver hair and their eyes were the same colour as their scales. It went from a red colour to black by passing through the blue. With this, they had ten new powerful servants of different colours who would from now on serve on the house floor.

"Welcome to the dungeon of pandemonium. The ten of you will now work on protecting this floor from invaders coming from the stairs. Normally, such things should not happen but in case it does, it is your duty to have them disappear. In addition of protecting the floor, you will be under Venus as her helpers. You are to obey any of her orders. Any questions?"

The dragon men were all standing straight while looking at Jin, he was certain that their attitude was exactly like the knights from the four kingdoms when they were in formation, very obedient.

"No sir!" The ten of them all answered as one making an impression on Jin who totally compared them to the armies leader's residing on the first floor.

With this, Jin left and went back to the house, leaving the rest to Venus who would be showing around the floor and explaining the different tasks to do.

Jin sat down on the sofa, looking at the dungeon. He was thinking back to when he had just been summoned to this world. It truly felt like a long time but actually, it had only been a little less than three months. Looking back to the dungeon back then, they truly went a long way to what they became today.

Of course, this was only the beginning. He still didn't forget his goal on creating the strongest dungeon across the world. And for this, he would have to start conquering the other dungeons in the four kingdoms to being with.

The only thing he needed right now, was the news about the dungeon number seventeen in the kingdom of air. He needed to know what happened when the dungeon core was touched. And, in his future conquests, he planned on conquering the dungeons of the four kingdoms. Each kingdoms had a dungeon in their surroundings. If he could conquer the dungeon and create a portal, he could get even more people in the dungeon while also getting fees from it.

However, there was still the problem where people could leave the dungeon and they would stop living in the dungeon. However, he believed it wouldn't be a problem since everyone seemed to be living greatly on the first floor. There was no crimes, everyone was getting along and everyone ate to their fills.

Yes, right now, it was truly a good life
