Chapter 28 - Incredible forsight

Once the water king and his subordinate came back from the fifth floor, they were extremely excited.

They had never met such a powerful person before. Well, they weren't sure he was a person because of his horns and scales that appeared on his arms and legs. That said, they had difficulty believing that he was a demon like he had said. The demon normally were weaker than him at his age and they didn't have scales on the legs as well.

If they had to say, he looked more like a dragon in human form but at this point, it wasn't their business so they didn't think to much out of it.

What they were mostly excited was the room that the dungeon master had created for them. He had said that all the herbs had been created on the first floor in a separate room.

But, he didn't tell them where the room was. However, the moment they reappeared on the first floor, they didn't need to look too much.

A cercle with a giant wave in it's interior had appeared on a wall. Also, right at the center of the circle was a hole, just big enough to answer the token in.

The king was extremely excited as he walked towards the giant circle. Of course, he wasn't the only one as the fire king, the air king, the village chief and even the earth king who had a bandage around his broken arm went to the new sign on the wall.

Of course, they all tough that an opportunity had appeared on this floor as the sign most likely signified that it was a door of some sort.

When the water king arrived, there were thousands of people all around the new sign waiting for something to happen.

He didn't waste any time and he inserted the token in the hole on the wall. By doing this, an opening appeared in the wall, but there was some kind of protective barrier that made it impossible for others to enter.

Of course, in a dungeon everything was made to be entered so, if they attacked with enough force, they would be able to break the barrier but they didn't know of it.

When the door opened and everyone saw in the interior of the room, they were all stunned. There were thousands of herbs in the room and each of them were ready to be plucked out.

It wasn't necessary to say that the other kings and the village chief were jealous of such a room. And they all tried to enter it. They thought that since only the water king was able to enter than it had something to do with the deal.

But, they couldn't believe that the water king had made a deal with the dungeon master yet so they believed that they could all enter it.

Of course, when the three other kings and the chief tried to enter, just like the others, they were stopped at the entrance.

When the water king entered the room, he understood that what they saw at the entrance was merely a small part on the room.

He naturally didn't forget that none of this was free so he turned around and went to his leader telling him to bring what they had promised and to bring people to collect the herbs.

The knight's leader didn't wait and he left with around a hundred soldiers to go back take the gold and bring more people in the dungeon.

When he ordered his knights to go collect the necessary at the kingdom, the other kings were quite interested how he had managed to have this room and what it was used for.

The water king explained everything that had happened on the fifth floor. He described how beautiful this floor was, the strength of Iris and the strength of the dungeon master himself.

When the earth king heard that his men's had been taken out by Alma alone, he totally understood how foolish he had been. To believe that he wanted to take down the dungeon by himself.

However, the four kings all understood very well that this dungeon which was situated at the center of the four kingdom was totally different than the other ones.

Not only was there a dungeon master, but he had such powerful subordinates and he himself was extremely powerful.

In the other dungeons in their kingdoms, the monsters were weak, there were practically no ressources in their dungeons and the dungeons themselves were getting weaker by the days.

If they had to compare the dungeons it was the difference between heaven and earth as it even had a dungeon master in the dungeon who supervised everything.

Also, since the dungeon master could make appear approximately everything in the dungeon in exchange of gold coins. The kingdoms would never be out of ressources.

Ever since this dungeon had appeared, they had relocated most of their workers in the other dungeons to enter this one and there wasn't much adventurers still entering the other dungeons.

In other words, this dungeon had taken over all the business, the workers and the adventurers of other dungeon and they still weren't able to use the dungeon to it's maximum capability.

Right now, the kings were patting themselves on the back and they were happy that their subordinates, the armies leaders had not been rash and angered the dungeon master or it would have been a catastrophe.

Little did they know, the king's had actually started to interact much more together than before the dungeon had appeared and they were all willingly providing help to each other. Be it in information or in trade for ressources needed.

With this immense change, the war that had been close to erupting had already been forgotten as they were all trying their best to improve their own riches and strengthen their own kingdom.

The only difference was that they weren't trying to strengthen their kingdom's for war but for survivability.

On the continent, there were thousands of dungeons and the four kingdoms were extremely weak compared to other kingdoms.

There were other dungeons that were rich in ressources but there was no sign of there being a dungeon master. As such, they truly believed that at some points the stronger kingdoms would come to try to take over the dungeon from them.

But for now, they truly believed that their foresight of accepting the rules of the dungeon master was the best thing to do.
