Robert was jolted into his senses as he jumped up away from her and because her arms were around his neck she too fell from the bed as an effect. She hit her side and whined in pain while Jessica who was standing at the door looked at them with shock. Robert had an embarrassed look and for the first time in his life he was unable to meet his sister's gaze. He looked at Jessica and then at Rachel but when he saw her in pain, he ignored her sister and hurried to her side. He lifted her in his arms and put her on the bed as he asked gently with a worried expression "Where are you hurt?"
