Shi Tong led Lin Yuan and his guards to an spacious room. The room was spacious and there was several wooden chairs .
"Please , take a sit." Shi Tong said to Lin Yuan and his guards.
Lin Yuan found a wooden chair to sit down on but his guards didn't as they remained standing guarding their young master safety.
"Take a sit ." Lin Yuan didn't like the fact that his guards are standing, so he ordered them to sit down.
"Yes ! young master." Zhang Li and the other guards took a sit down .However , they remained vigilant against any possible threat on their young master .
"This young man doesn't have a cultivation.Moreover , he has powerful guards which means he has a strong background ." Shi Tong thought run wild thinking about exhorting money from Lin Yuan . However , he quickly reverted back to his enthusiasm expression.
"gentlemen ! I will call the orphanage manager immediately. Feel free to ask the servants if you need anything." said Shi Tong and asked a servant to serve them until he is back .
Lin Yuan was shocked by the quick difference in treatment and attitude of Shi Tong ,and more importantly was the fact that Shi Tong acted like an experienced manager which means : Shi Tong has done the same thing many times before .
After Shi Tong left the room , Lin Yuan asked the servant to give him and his guard some private space in a polite manner .
"Bring some tea !".
After the servant left , Lin Yuan and his four guards started a discussion .
"what's the cultivation of this fella ??" Lin Yuan asked his guards .
"I can sense that he is just a 'D-' Rank cultivator." replied Zhang Li , Having a higher cultivation rank allowed him to sense lesser rank cultivator in most cases.
"I don't think he is just a door keeper in this orphanage ." Lin Yuan said. although a 'D' Rank cultivation isn't much in the City Lord's mansion. it is not something a random person in a small gang can have .
The conversation didn't last a long because Shi Tong returned with another two men , the one in the front was a silver haired skinny middle aged man with a long beard .the other was a black-haired Obese middle-aged man .
Lin Yuan guessed from the way they are walking that the skinny middle aged man has the highest authority among the three .
"Welcome to our humble orphanage." the skinny middle aged man welcomed Lin Yuan and his guards once again .
"Thank you , this orphanage doesn't seem humble at all !" said Lin Yuan .
"Haha , you must be joking." Shi Tong replied with a smile .
"Mister Shi Tong , can you introduce your friends to us ?" Lin Yuan asked Shi Tong to introduce the newcomers.although it was impolite not to introduce oneself. Lin Yuan didn't want to disclose his identity.
"This our Vice-manager Shi Yin. and this is Shi Qingtong , he is responsible of orphanage finance." said Shi Tong as he introduced the skinny middle-aged man and the black haired obese middle aged man respectively.
The orphanage members noticed but didn't care much about the fact that Lin Yuan didn't introduce himself .
"May I know ! what's your purpose in coming to this orphanage ??" asked Shi Yin .
"I've told Mister Shi Tong , that we come here to adopt few children. didn't he tell you ??"
"Yes he did. When he told me that there was some people who wants to adopt few children. I thought I would be meeting an old man or a middle aged man at least .Never come in my mind that the one who wants to adopt kids from my orphanage is in your age." replied Shi Yin with a smile.
"In fact , I don't want to adopt some of the children , the rest will be trained in my family." Lin Yuan explained his purpose in coming .
"Can you tell me how many child you want to take from the orphanage ??" Shi Yin didn't drag the conversation more as he asked .
"fifteen or twenty." said Lin Yuan .
"What !!" Exclaimed the black haired Shi Qingtong .
"Is there a problem ?"
"Yes, there is."
"What's the problem in adopting many kids ??" asked Lin Yuan with a confused expression.
"The orphanage is poor which mean we can't feed the large number of orphans , so we have made a deal with some other families in the West River City .Once the kids grow they will join those families in exchange those families will support the orphanage." said Shi Qingtong.
"If it was a kid or two , we can stretch the rules.However , if we allow you adopt this number of kids from the orphanage those families will complain and might stop supporting the orphanage ." said Shi Yin with an apology.
Lin Yuan didn't know whether the obese middle aged man saying was true or not .
"So what do you want me to do??" asked Lin Yuan with a helpless expression.
"We can only allow you to adopt two children at most." said the orphanage vice-manager.
"We can't allow you to adopt more because those families .unless we give them a compensation , they will no support the orphanage anymore." said Shi qingtong.
