Camilla was filing her razor sharp ails in the private car as they began driving through the wilderness heading for the Pure-bloods castle. Eli couldn't take his eyes off Ally as she looked out of the window, she hadn't said a word since leaving her family consumed in sorrow. Eli was loving this lonely tint to her eyes as she watched the winter trees sweep past the window. Ally didn't even care about them watching her anymore, she didn't care about anything. They could kill her right there in the car and she wouldn't lift a finger against them. Ally was bound to them under court law, even if she did want to return to her family she couldn't. Camilla's nails scraped across Ally's leg as she tried to get her attention, but Ally didn't shift her gaze from the window.
"Oh, come on Thana. Don't be so glum, like you said you didn't belong there." Ally scowled at her.
"I said I didn't belong anywhere, if your going to recite my words at least get them right." She said viciously, Camilla smirked at her attitude and Eli chuckled. Camilla wasn't even angry, she liked the fight this girl had.
"So, Thana what should we do with you? Torture you to no end, throw you into the pits of hell. No. I think that would be a little harsh, I want to keep you close." Camilla said seductively stroking her leg. Ally glanced at Eli who was looking at Camilla hand with rage, it didn't take her long to see these two weren't loving family.
"Do as you please." Ally said bluntly returning her head to the window. Eli was surprised how calm she was sitting in a car with two pure-bloods with her life in their hands.
"I have a question for you." Eli spoke up out of the blue, this was something he had been wondering for a while. Ally glared at him with flame filled eyes.
"Did you f*ck any of the Lang brothers while you were there?" Ally felt her face bur red at his perverted question.
"No."
Camilla, "What made you ask such a thing?" she said disgusted at his profanity.
"I could smell their lust the minute I saw them, I just wanted to know if they'd touched her." He said darkly. Ally had a feeling if she had, she would be no use to him. Eli was the type to not like tainted women.
"What if they had?" Ally asked bravely. Eli grinned at her.
"Then, you wouldn't be as fun to play with." He said sternly, Ally felt a shiver run down her back. This was going to be agonizing living under the same roof as these two sadistic, perverted monsters. Ally watched the car come to a stop. Looking up she could see a castle bigger than her pack house and Lang clan combined. It was a Victorian castle complete with a church like clock embedded into the top. If she wasn't here against her will she would probably comment on its beauty. Camilla and Eli could see the fascination on Ally face and opened their doors. Ally stepped out, she looked unhinged as her clothes were covered in dirt. Camilla looked her up and down.
"I can't have you serving me like that. We'll have to get you some new clothes." Ally followed them up the castle steps and was stunned as the two giant wooden doors opened. Inside was even more impressive, the room was gold and white completed with a diamond chandelier which twinkled as the lamplight struck them. Ahead was a large staircase, three stories high. It was large enough to hold as least three thousand people. Ally soon dulled her awe, Camilla strutted into the main hall as servants flocked to the pure-bloods taking their coats. Ally looked at the servants and noticed they were all young, some of them only fifteen. Girls and boys stood is servants' outfits in a straight line as if they were in the military. Upon further inspection, Ally could see the vicious bruising on all their necks as well as punctures holes, these poor kids were like livestock.
"Thana." Eli's voice snapped Ally back to reality, he was standing in-front of the servants as all their heads bowed. Eli gestured her over and Ally dragged her feet glaring at him coldly.
"This is Thana, she's a special guest so treat her with respect." All the nodded in sync looking at Ally fearfully seeing her eyes. Ally bowed her head shamefully, how did these children end up here. It wasn't fair. Eli walked over to a young boy who trembled in fear. Eli took his claw and slit a small gash on the boy's neck allowing his blood to stream down his chest. Ally felt her throat contract painfully and began shaking trying not to show her thirst. Eli chuckled seeing her discomfort. Ally looked at the fear in the boy's eyes and felt like a monster, she couldn't feed from him.
"When was the last time you fed?" Eli asked in interest playing around with the boy's hair. Ally gritted her teeth.
"Four days ago." Eli gasped upon hearing this. The pain must be excruciating, vampires could only last usually three days before giving in, Ally was clearly strong minded.
"That's unacceptable, you must be suffering greatly." Ally wasn't sure if he was being sarcastic or sympathetic, but her eyes widened as Eli pushed the bot towards her, so she would catch him. The young boy gasped and trembled as Ally gripped him to prevent him from falling. Ally gently moved him away from his painfully smiling and the boy was in shock.
"Feed." He said seductively as if he was getting off on her thirst. Ally looked at the boy reassuringly, strangely the boy felt safe with her.
"No." she said harshly. Eli tutted at her and walked closer. Camilla was watching from the side as the struggle on her pets' face, she was string willed that was for sure.
"Feed or I'll break his neck." Eli swiftly locked his hand around the boy's throat and Ally felt a rush of adrenaline as she snatched the boy from his grasp.
"I'll do it just don't kill him." Ally couldn't help but see her brother in this young boy, he had black hair and blue eyes, he was beautiful like James was back at the clan. Ally looked at the boy sadly and pulled her face up to his ear.
"I'm sorry." She whispered biting gently into his neck, the young boy flinched initially and then felt a sudden calm come over him. She didn't hurt feeding from him, compared to the others she sips from him with care and kindness. Eli lifted Ally's head as she fed looking into her glowing mismatched eyes.
Camilla strutted over and looked with surprise on her face.
"Such control for a new born, I'm impressed." She said with a raised eyebrow, Eli was also quite impressed she showed better control than any other vampire he had seen. Ally pulled away looking the boy in the eyes shamefully, to her dismay the boy was crying, and she felt undeniably guilty. Ally didn't care if they watched her, she bit her arm and applied the blood to the boy's wounds.
"W-what is this?" Camilla stuttered as she watched the bruising on the boys' neck cease, his skin looked untouched. Ally smiled at the boy and the boy smiled thankfully back. He returned to the formation while Ally stood in defeat. Eli watched over and swiped the blood from her chin placing it in his mouth.
"How did you do that?" he asked peculiarly. Ally looked at him glaringly.
"I don't know I just can." She said expressionless, why were they so fascinated? Camilla began jumping with joy like a spoilt child.
"You're full of surprises aren't you Thana?" Ally rolled her eyes and walked over to the servants. Each of them let her apply her blood so they could heal, Eli and Camilla watched her like a puppet show, it was memorizing to see their brothers ability present in this girl. All of them looked at Ally like a saint and smiled.
"Looks like you inherited some power from my brother, how exciting." Eli said sadistically, Ally was like a shiny new toy and he couldn't wait to play with her. As they all stood a man in a suit with grey hair and a long grey mustache waltzed in.
"Albert, what brings you here?" Camilla danced round him childishly. Ally looked at him strangely, he was human from what she could smell.
"Forgive the intrusion, I was made aware a new guest had arrived." Eli took Ally hand and marched her forward, Ally pulled away from him disgusted and glared at the old man ahead.
"You must be Ally King pleasure to meet you." The man outstretched his hand as a formality and Ally looked at it questionably. Slowly, she shook his hand. It dawned on her that she hadn't yet been tortured or assaulted or even physically abused against her will. Why were they treating her as a guest and not a servant?
"It's Thana now Albert." Albert smiled kindly.
"My mistake welcome to the household Thana. I'll be your servant if you require anything let me know." Ally looked at him confused and Eli quickly interjected.
"Could you prepare dinner Albert, we've had a long day haven't we Thana." Ally scowled at him, why was he being so nice towards her it made her hair stand on end. This was suspicious.
"Of course, Master Eli." Albert gave Ally one last gratifying nod before exiting the main hall. Camilla shooed away the servants with the flick of her wrist leaving just her, Eli and Ally in the room. Ally braced herself as Eli walked up to her but was enraged when he took her hand and kissed it. Ally pulled away from him but quickly he pinned her up against the far wall. Ally decided she wasn't going to let them kill her that easily and pushed him back. Eli slid across the floor skidding to where Camilla stood. Camilla was clapping her hands excitedly.
"You were right sister, she is strong. Not bad beautiful." He said devilishly. Ally couldn't understand what was going on, why were they testing her? Was it to determine her weakness?
"I told you, she was useful." Eli gave her a nod and whistled. Soon, a servant ran in and knelt before him, it was the young boy she had fed from.
"Take her to the guest room." The servant nodded obediently and looked back at Ally.
"See you at dinner Thana." Camilla waved, and Ally followed the boy cautiously, she didn't trust anything or anyone. This was the enemy's domain and she was a sheep in shark waters. Ally walked through endless corridors following the young boy, it was like a maze. Finally, she arrived at a gold crested door with flower like patterns on it. The young boy opened the door and gestured her in, he turned around to leave but Ally gripped his shirt pleadingly freezing him on the spot.
"What's your name?" the young boy wouldn't look at her clearly afraid.
"I-I don't have a name…" he said shyly. Ally tutted and pulled him into her room closing the door looking around to make sure no-one was around.
"I don't believe that everyone has a name. I want to know who I'm apologizing too." She said kindly kneeling down to ensure she wasn't intimidating.
"Cole." It was an old-fashioned English name, but it suited him very well having ebony hair.
"It suits you well. My names not really Thana, it's Ally. Cole I'm really sorry for what I did." Cole looked at her dumbfounded.
"Why are you apologizing it's my role to supply you." Ally looked at him with disgust, how could this young boy be so accepting to being cattle.
"I don't like feeding from others, in-fact I despise it. How long have you been here?"
"T-Three years." He stuttered, Ally frowned sorrowfully, this poor boy had spent his whole adolescence here and it broke her heart. Cole could see the sadness on her face.
"You didn't hurt, you're not like the rest." He said trying to cheer her up. Ally smiled faintly at him. Wasn't she? The way everyone was treating her she may as well be a monster along with Camilla and Eli.
"I'm glad to hear that. Thank-you for showing me to my room, you should head back I don't want to get you into trouble." Cole nodded and scurried out of the room like a little mouse. Ally looked around her room, everything was a soft red velvet. Her bed-sheets to the luxury padded walls and long red drapes blocking out the sunlight. Why would they let her stay somewhere so comfortable, she was there pet? Was this part of their plan to get her hopes up before throwing her in a dungeon? Ally walked over to her queen-sized bed and looked at a note sitting organized in the middle of her sheets. Ally picked it up and began reading.
"Dear Thana, your gown is in the closet. Get changed and we will call you for dinner. Eli."
Ally gripped her hair in annoyance, what the hell was going on. A gown? Did they have split personality disorder, she was being treated like royalty. After standing dazed for a while she got her head straight and walked over to the closet. Inside was a violet gown fit for a queen, it had long lace sleeved and a low-cut v-line collar, it went down to her ankles and flowed out effortlessly. Ally wanted to burn it, she didn't want to accept anything from them. Everything was so unsure, this didn't seem right at all. These were the people who had assaulted and threatened her family, now she was being treated as equal. None of it made any sense.
After looking at herself in the mirror for a while a knock at the door startled her and she went on the defense, Ally approached carefully and opened the door. Thankfully, it was just Cole and she breathed a sigh of relief.
"Dinner's ready." he said sweetly Ally nodded and followed him through the corridor and through the main hall. Cole kept turning around and looking at her only to blush and shy away whenever she caught him. Ally felt a giggle escape her lips, it was the first time she smiled since coming here.
"Something wrong Cole? I don't look that ridiculous, do I?" she said lightly, Cole spun around with desperation on his face.
"N-no you look beautiful." He said panicked, Ally gave him a concerned look. It was only a joke, but he apologized like his life was in the line.
"Don't worry, I was only teasing you." She said softly, Cole calmed down and returned to leading her.
Ally was led through two large black doors which reached the high ceiling, upon entry her she clenched her jaw shut. A large king like table stretched throughput the whole room, larger than anyone she'd seen before.
"Quite something isn't it?" Eli's voice echoed behind her, she spun around quickly and was met with an odd sight. Eli was dressed smartly in a black and red suit with diamond cuff-links, he looked very sophisticated. Eli bit his lip seeing her in a gown, as if she couldn't get any lovelier.
"You look beautiful Thana, care to sit?" Ally scowled at him ignoring his every word. Cole pulled out a chair for her and she sat down wearily scanning every corner of the room. She was here for punishment, not to be dined. Eli watched her suspicious eyes and stiffened body.
"Relax, it's only dinner. Sadly, you're not on the menu tonight." He teased but Ally was done playing games.
"What this all about Eli? If this is punishment I don't know if I should be wearier of your kindness." Eli chuckled.
"Wait and see." He said vaguely. Ally was ready to rip out his throat until Camilla strutted into the room wearing a silver gown like Ally's.
"You clean up well Thana, careful you might make me envious." She said enticingly. Camilla sat down placing the napkin delicately on her lap. Ally placed both of hands on the table and stood up.
"I'm done playing your pathetic game, if your going to punish me then do it already!" she shouted this sudden pent up anger pulsating through her body. Eli sighed and looked at her sympathetically.
"So impatient." Camilla joined him tutting and shaking her head.
"All will be explained in good time Thana. How about we enjoy dinner for now."
Camilla and Eli eyes suddenly shot towards the door as footsteps approached dauntingly. Ally also glances at the door and felt her heart drop. Eli gave a deadly stare as well as Camilla.
"What brings you out of your pit." Eli said darkly.
