Synopsis
And the man forgot. Nobody is able to say why it happened or how. There may have been some natural phenomenon that erased our memories, we might transgress a rule of some unknown power and be punished for it. Maybe, simply, man did it to himself. As little children, reduced to little more than animals, we wandered for centuries while our fatuous civilization collapsed around us. Everything became ruins. The ruins became dust. And the dust dispersed in the winds. At that time the world had another name. But nobody remains to remember it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Author note: What if you have to build your Empire, just with the most low level creatures in the world, goblins.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Dream

"It can not be, I've lost again" Miguel looked with frustration at the screen of his mobile, where he could see a large message with red letters of "Defeat".

It was 12 o'clock at night while Miguel came back home on a street with simple street lamps every few meters. You could see dark rings under his eyes as he continued to stare at the mobile.

Miguel loved the strategy games where you have to build a city and get it afloat from nothing, although unfortunately not the best in them.

"Anyway... I just need a restful night, I've lost again" What frustrated him the most was the fact that all his co-workers managed to beat him.

His dream was to be a leader, to be able to lead and guide people. But unfortunately, with a few studies done and few resources did not get anything. And the only exit to his ambition that was the games, to which he dedicated the little time he had, resulted in defeat after defeat.

"Sigh..." With a sigh came to the door of his house. As soon as he opened the door, the vision did not improve his mood.

It was a small apartment with a small living room that connected directly to the kitchen, a room where only the bed fit and a tiny wardrobe with the few clothes that it had and a bathroom where two people would enter would be a miracle. But hey, he did not have anyone so in the end it was not that important.

He turned on the light, threw the backpack with his work clothes to a corner and went to the kitchen without stopping. He almost unconsciously opened the fridge and picked up some water. Then with his eyes already half-closed, thinking of the dream that awaited him, he went straight to the bed where he let himself fall without taking off his clothes.

Even lying down he lazily removed his slippers, and trying to make the movements of a contortionist took off his shirt and pants. It was summer so sleeping in your underwear would be colder.

Everything that he had done today, his two jobs, his shitty life and above all his fatigue, passed through his head. This was an indefinite period of time until he was deeply asleep.

The whole street had been suspiciously dark. Even if it was after midnight you would have to hear some cat or insect, but there was nothing.

Everything looked like a painting, everything static, not a movement, not a shadow, nothing.

And suddenly Miguel, in his own dream appeared on a black background and some luminous points.

The calm that was breathed was proportional to the one that was felt on the outside. It was like floating in infinity. Miguel slowly opened his eyes and began to look around.

Every time one looked through the infinite sky, more stars appeared. At closer distances one could observe strange planets with large rings. Everything seemed to approach and move away. Great stars arose and went out. World were born and died of their own ashes. It was a unique vision.

"WELCOME TO MY VISION OF THE UNIVERSE!" A deep and mystical voice resounded throughout the space. It had no specific origin, it was as if the universe itself spoke for itself and you could hear it as if you had it in your ear and at the same time very far away.

This voice took Miguel out of the trance of observing that landscape and tried unsuccessfully to find the origin of that voice.

"DON'T TRY TO FIND ME, I AM AT YOUR SIDE AND AT THE SAME TIME EVERYWHERE!" Miguel frowned. "[I am an almight a God]

"Fatigue is playing tricks on me, I have to stop taking those shakes from my co-worker, I think I've done something to him" Miguel thought as he tried to rationally understand everything that was happening.

"I'm not a product of your imagination!" Surprising Miguel the voice answered directly to his thoughts.

"MY NAME IS WEX !!, AND YOU MUST REMEMBER MY NAME AS I AM THE GOD OF ... "THE VOICE STOPED MIDDLE SECOND "AN ALMIGHTY GOD "

Miguel frowned a second time, something clearly was not right, but before he could say a word, the voice continued.

"I'M COMING TO OFFER YOU SMALL HUMAN A DEAL!" Everything trembled and the vision approached a distant planet to see it from the heavens.

"THIS WORLD IS KNOWN AS THE REGAL REALMS, WITH DIFFERENT RACES THAT FIGHT FOR THE CONTROL OF ALL ITS RESOURCES".

From the celestial view of that rotating planet you could see great mountains and valleys. Immense cities occupied large territories. The animals roamed the meadows, and the birds the heavens.

In a village you could see how large creatures were concentrated around a large bonfire.

The image changed and a great city was seen at sunset, a large market occupied most of its streets, and beings of all kinds bought without hesitation. It was without a doubt, a world different from the earth, less developed. A bit of technology was seen, but most of them carried swords and shields, but what surprised Miguel the most was the fact that there were signs of magic.

In one of the visions was a woman covered with a tunic sensually moving her hands in the air, and a little water moved taking different forms to the rhythm of her hands.

Miguel returned to himself.

"And exactly what does all this have to do with me?" Miguel interrupted to see this world that seemed taken from a science fiction book.
