After the priest did what was supposed to be done, the massive door opened and the three entered. To not allow anyone suspect anything, the three put up a front. The High Priest was still the High Priest, the giant still a man serving those from the dark world and Ochieng' still the captured Ordainer. The giant was even pushing Ochieng' from time to time urging him to hurry for time was not with them.
Entering, Ochieng' was surprised to see the interiors of the building. They got into a huge hall with the ceiling being several meters on top of them. Benches were arranged nicely within. At the forefront was an altar which was made of wood which showed how skilled the person who crafted it was.
"This is where the most leaders of the Crimson land converge to worship our Lord. This building has two floors. This hall is the ground floor and on top of us is another floor where the sisters dwell. In this hall, knowledge is imparted to us by the sisters themselves."
While Ochieng' was still amazed by what he was seeing, the High Priest's voice came at a timely manner. No one was in the hall yet, so he decided to fill Ochieng' with details for he looked lost at the moment.
"I see." Ochieng' nodded, his neck still twisting and eyes rolling as he took a look at the amazing building. Since he became an Ordainer, the only big building he had ever seen was the one he saw at the spiritual dimension. He had never seen a tall one before. It was inevitable that he was surprised at the sight of this one.
"I have informed the sisters of our arrival. They will be here at any moment to perform the rituals." The priest said with respect as they sat on one of the benches on the front row.
As if listening to their conversation, six women dressed in black dresses immediately appeared before them. This made the dull room light up, showing things that were not there before. On the walls were different kinds of paintings and writings. The altar glowed beautifully. The air of the hall also changed to that which brought serenity to those sitting inside. The air was also refreshing and one felt like drinking an elixir of life upon breath.
The six women just stood there with faces full of indifference. While their appearance changed the ambiance to be pleasurable, they could make one be terrified by just their looks. This was because their eyes were sharp, reminiscent of a dagger.
"Six mistresses of our great Lord, greetings."
The priest and the giant fell on their knees and bowed respectfully towards the women. Upon seeing their actions, Ochieng' also folloed suite, making one of the women smile.
"Have you made the Ordainer ready for what is yet to happen?" After slightly nodding to the greetings, the voices of the six women echoed within the hall.
"Yes mistresses." The High Priest replied before signaling for Ochieng' to go upfront.
The young man sighed heavily before walking towards the women fearfully.
"We meet again, Ordainer." The six smiled.
Ochieng' only gave a helpless look upon hearing such a question. While he looked like he was helpless on the surface, inside, he was busy obtaining information from the women's heads. He thought he would not succeed considering their power, but it seemed that they were weaklings before him.
"What am I supposed to do my mistresses?" After knowing what he was supposed to know, Ochieng' asked.
"As far as we know, you have only submitted to us by the word of mouth. Even though you have killed your companions to prove your loyalty, we can't rely on that, after all, you may choose to avenge them in the future..."
"I will dare not betray you in the future mistresses, why are you saying that?" Ochieng' interrupted the women whose apathetic voices filled the entire hall.
"We know, but you know that prevention is better than cure, we do not want to take risks."
As soon as they said those words, the women flicked their fingers lightly. After which, thin strands of yellow green flames was released from each of their eyes directed towards Ochieng'. Ochieng' who expected this only pretended to be scared when he saw the flames coming towards him.
The flames were directed towards Ochieng's chest. They whirlpooled on his chest as they entered his heart. Ochieng' convulsed with whitened eyes for a moment before swaying weakly. The women nodded in satisfaction for they believed that Ochieng' would never betray them. What they did not know was that anything done to Ochieng' from the moment he stepped on the Crimson land would only make him stronger. This was because he was currently more powerful than almost everyone in the world and could manipulate any energy to his advantage. Since he was also an Ordainer who could now use the elements as his tools, any form of energy could never harm him in any way.
It did not take long before he stood on his feet. The sweat all over his face clearly showed how much he had struggled. He was now looking at the women fearfully and the beating of his heart could even be seen on his chest.
"Having dealt with that, we are going to perform a ritual where we will sever any connections between you and your One from above. After this, he will never trace you no matter how much he searches for you. Are you ready?" With satisfied smiles, the women explained before asking.
"I am." Ochieng' nodded.
He was then taken before the altar. The women then mattered some things which made the altar widen to be large enough to be occupied by two humans. He was asked to get on top of it, what he did quickly. The women then surrounded the altar before lifting their hands slightly. Together, they roared incantations, what made the hall shake a little. Even the priest and the giant found themselves unable to breathe properly.
Not too long later, he was shrouded in red flames. As the flames appeared, the six women fell down weakly while panting like dogs that had run for hours. This was to be expected. After all, the spell was involving separating Ochieng' from a god who was no way inferior to theirs.
