Chapter 110 - The High Priest and The Giant Submit

"What makes you think that I can submit to a human like you? Because you have some power up your sleeves?" Spitting on the ground, the High Priest asked disdainfully.

"Maybe." Ochieng' nodded with a smile.

"Then you are wrong."

Harrumphing coldly, the High Priest looked at Ochieng' with reddened eyes before his face started warping. His normal human height started changing and within no minute, he was one meter taller than he was initially. His head now resembled those of Black Fiends. The beautiful robe he wore swayed nicely even though there was no wind.

"Now I don't care whether my Lord needs you alive or not,. What I want is your life."

The priest said menacingly. His look was now piercing and his aura became oppressive. Without reason, Ochieng' released the power holding the giant making the latter fall heavily on the ground. The giant got to his knees immediately and bowed towards the priest in deep reverence.

"Die."

The priest roared before lifting his palms towards Ochieng'. His hands started glowing red making them look like burning charcoal. A smile crept on his lips as he looked at Ochieng' with pity. Suddenly, an energy reminiscent of mirage was sent towards Ochieng'. It was so powerful that everything that it brushed past was reduced to nothingness. Surely, Ochieng' would be no exception.

On the other hand, Ochieng' just stood there, his smile never leaving face. His eyes were closed and his face looked calm. When the energy landed on his body, he inhaled deeply and the energy were devoured through his nostrils. This made the High Priest's sway in horror.

The move he made was his most powerful one. With it, he could make almost everyone in the dark world shudder in fear. His position as a High Priest was not there for show. That meant that he held a high position and only a handful of people were ranks higher than him. He knew that Ochieng' was an Ordainer who was yet to fully awaken all his powers. He could dare not compare himself with those Ordainers who were completely powerful, but of Ochieng's caliber, to him was like an ant and with just a snap of his finger, the young man would be reduced to dust. To think that that less powerful creature would withstand his most powerful energy and even devour it at that! It must be said that the High Priest was experiencing the greatest shock of his life. As if wanting to shock him even more, the young man's mourn entered his ears.

"Mmmh, how invigorating."

"What?"

The High Priest's jaws dropped to the ground and fear engulfed his heart so much that he started trembling.

"Now, it is my turn."

Ochieng' said before raising the staff once more.

"Wait..."

Fearing that he might lose his life at that very moment, the High Priest stopped Ochieng'.

"Okay, say what you have to say then." Without even putting the staff down, Ochieng' nodded apathetically.

"Just above the hill is the dwelling place of the six mistresses. I am sure they are now aware of the commotion down here. If you kill me, they won't let you go." The priest threatened.

"Hehe, do you believe I am as stupid as you think? Honestly, I already knew that you are taking me there. Do you think I can attack, the way I do without being careful enough? If I am not wrong, you have even sent them a message that you are in danger, are you sure it has reached them?" Ochieng' asked hurriedly with a smile.

The High Priest was rendered speechless; he did not know what to do at the moment. The only hope he was clinging to was those mistresses of his, but upon hearing Ochieng's questions, he felt weak and this time he fell down reverting to a human. The giant also fell down and was overwhelmed with hopelessness.

"So, I am going to give you a chance to be my servants and have the opportunity to work by my side everyday. Otherwise, you know what I am going to do." Looking at the two coldly, Ochieng' said.

The two panicked for some time. It was only until they saw Ochieng' almost pressing the button he pressed before did the giant fell on the young man's feet.

"I am one of the guardians of the Crimson land. I may be the weakest among the seven guardians of the Crimson land but my strength is one to reckon with. Even the strongest of us cannot dare challenge me into a duel because he knows I have so many trump cards up my sleeve. If you take me in as your servant, you will know how useful I will be."

Without looking at the giant who was really recommending itself to him, Ochieng' threw a meaningful gaze at the High Priest.

"I will be your servant."

The priest nodded in agreement albeit unwillingly. Ochieng' did not care whether the priest was willing or not. What he cared about was his submission and since he did, everything else was almost done with.

"You all made a good decision. As my servants, I will never mistreat you. So long as you do well, you will enjoy standing by my side. However, to be safe, I have placed a curse on you. It is not a heavy one actually. So long as you don't even think of going against me, you will never be blown up."

After the giant stood by the High Priest's side, Ochieng' directly looked at them before calmly saying with a smile. This made the two feel like dying because such a curse was a heavy one. They had chosen to submit to escape their predicament at that moment and find a way of avenging themselves later on. This was especially so for the High Priest. They couldn't have thought that Ochieng' would be way ahead of them.

"We will dare not go against you master." They both bowed fearfully.

"Good... Keniya is now in danger, we should hurry up."

Nodding in commendation, Ochieng' issued some instructions to the High Priest before he beckoned them. Without wasting time, they disappeared.
