Chapter 74 - I ran away!

Feeling guilty, Ira didn't dare to look into his eyes, mumbled softly: "Don't embarrass me anymore. You know, I had around 12 dates that single month. l don't remember any of them."

Slowly lifting her eyes to access the situation, she was left to be disappointed. He was still angry. Ira failed to pacify Viv.

in an unnatural cutesy voice. Ira asked: "Viv, I want to know more. How was our blind date?" It was obvious that she was overplaying an adorable girl, against her true nature.

Viv was trying hard to hold back his laughter, but the slight curve of his lips betrayed his angry appearance. Fortunately, Ira was unaware of the flaw in his appearance, Noticing slight tremble of his lips. she guessed that Viv was probably angry and hurt by her attitude in her previous life.

'How can you forget a date with this man?' Even after thinking a lot, she was depressed. She could not recall a single thing about their date.

Ira: "Viv, this is your favourite sweet and sour steak." she sought to change the subject by trying to feed him, who ignored her stretched hand holding a fork.

"Such a handsome face is hard to forget. I was wrong." Ira shifted her chair near him and rested her hand on his hands. Many eyes were on the couple. Yet Ira who was most concerned about her public image was not bothered by their gazes. Focussed on pacifying her husband.

Upon hearing this, Viv's face changed slightly yet he snorted: "Handsome face! You ran in the opposite direction in the blink of an eye, the first time you met me."

Confusion was apparent on her face, her brow wrinkled. She couldn't believe that their first meeting was so bad. "I ran away?"

"Yes, you ran away with your heels in your hand. You didn't even stop to look back at this handsome face."

"What?" Even though she was careless, and hateful in the blind dates, Ira didn't remember one which was so bad that she ran away from her date!

"Stop, I didn't know you were such a sweetheart, my husband." Leaning on him, she wrapped her hand around his burying her face in. Her chest stuck to his hand leaving no gap. Pulling him away from all bad memories, she tried to seduce him.

"Lies, all lies." It was really difficult to maintain the cold look now but his expression turned serious: "Don't try too hard. You won't remember it anyway."
