There are 16 known ranks of cultivation which each level max' out in.

Title: (citizen) Rookie practitioner

Expatiation: Entails building the body, reinforcing and reconstructing it with essence energy to make it stronger and more resilient as well as a better vessel for storing essence energy. It entails, skin refinement, muscle refinement, bone refinement and marrow refinement. Each stage will be explained as the story goes on

Title: (Sergeant) Beginner
Energy rating: E-]
Explanation: Entails gathering essence energy into the newly built vessel (body) and slowly compressing and guiding it to one's energy center or dantian. Further explanation in proceeding chapters

Title: (Warrior) Martial Artist

Explanation: Entails the extreme compression of one's essence energy into a more concentrated and stable state to avoid leakages when one builds his foundation

Title: (Knight) True martial Artist

Explanation: The point where being human ends (physically). Entails the opening nourishment of one's meridians and finally the brain to push the body past it's human limitations. Foundation because future cultivation journey will be dependent on number of meridians opened and power of one's senses (brain)

Explanation: Its not much of building of one's spirit but more or fortifying one's will. A very painful and long process that most cannot overcome. Obtains the Demi human status

Title: (General) Grandmaster
Energy rating: A-]
Explanation: This is where 80% stop not due to inability to handle pain because Rank 5 is in preparation for this Rank. Main reason for failure is due to its near impossibility to achieve. Entails strengthening one's very essence of existence. Once failed, the soul is extinguished from reality as it is a very delicate thing.
Following Ranks have 9 stages with every 10th being a heavenly tribulation. Can be delayed but not stopped. At these stages, one will subconsciously cultivate even when knocked out (assuming that was possible)

Explanation: Preparing one's energy center to house its first celestial body by destroying it and forcing it to be reborn

Explanation: Planetary introduction and expansion to galactic proportions. Multiple supernovae for each expansion

Explanation: Rebirth of one's body destroying what is strengthened dust an being born of purely essence energy in the order of body refinement done. Prepares for soul reconstruction by preventing dissipation of the soul.

Explanation: Rebirth of one's soul destroying the impossible to make a more powerful one of essence energy to grant it the stability and ability to access a higher form of power, world energy (still thinking up a dope ass name since my visions are being a bish)
