Lee Junsheng was aware that it was not working, so he stopped trying to persuade him. "Forget what I said. You should at least give them a chance, though."
"Never mind." Huo Jinyao smiled. "I'll let it go because of you."
"Ha." Lee Junsheng recalled something else. "There is something else, which I didn't want to say."
"Then don't." Huo Jinyao said playfully.
"You're a nasty boy." Lee Junsheng almost wanted to punch him. "I have to say this since you're not going to let me. My cousin Xuanyao—"
"Stop," Huo Jinyao interrupted, "I'm married."
"What? Really?" Lee Junsheng was shocked. "You're not lying to me just because you don't want my cousin, are you?"
Lee Junsheng obviously knew that Huo Jinyao had no interest in He Xuanyao. Lee Wanxiang, his aunt, his father's sister, had asked him to try to fix Huo Jinyao and He Xuanyao up, so he had had no choice.
He had never thought that Huo Jinyao had actually already gotten married.
