"What is it?" Luosang walked over and asked. When she saw it clearly, she paused for two seconds, then bent over and picked it up.
It was a dazzling diamond ring with a pink stone in the center, surrounded by two rings of small diamonds.
She gave a start.
"Do you like it?"
She heard his voice, as deep as a cello.
"As I said, your hands need a ring," he said.
Luosang stared at the ring for quite a while, until he lost patience and picked up the ring to put it on her ring finger.
"Mr. Nian…" She flinched and said, "You only wear a ring on that finger when you get married or engaged."
She remembered that once, a man had kneeled on one knee and put a ring on her ring finger. She thought that she would be with him for the rest of her life, yet in the end, he took everything away from her.
For a moment, she was in a trance.
"Yeah?" Nian Junting paused. He raised his head to look at her, then asked, "Do you want to marry me?"
