Luosang merely acknowledged him with a soft grunt.
Her ambivalent attitude drove Nian Junting nuts. "That's it? That's your reaction? Aren't you in the least bit curious about the secret I have to tell you?"
Luosang nodded her head. "I am, but you said that you've decided not to tell me. There's no use in me asking, is there?"
Nian Junting kept quiet.
After a while, he pouted his lips and said, "Luoluo, you're bound to regret this one day if you don't ask me about it now."
He grunted and started the car grumpily.
Luosang glanced over at him and tried hard to hold back her giggles. For some reason, she enjoyed watching him get all grumpy like this — she found it adorable and it lifted her spirits.
As for the secret that he wanted to tell her, she would find out about it one way or another eventually. No secret could last forever.
The night ended quietly.
December 24th.
