Chapter 1 - How it all began

Feng Mo lay on the charred ground bloodied and barely hanging to life as the heart breaking screams of crying toddlers and the piercing wails of dying people both young and old sounded throughout, if you listened closely it was even possible to hear the repeated drip of blood mixing with the muddy road and the crackling of wood as the raging flames baked both houses and their inhabitants. These sounds seemed to be on an endless loop to Feng Mo as he lay there unmoving his spirit crushed by the overwhelming deaths all around him. Feng Mo soon started zoning out, in fact he was slowly bleeding to death from multiple wounds. As Feng Mo lay there in a spreading pool of his own blood, his life started rolling back to the crucial event that led him into this world he so loved.

The current Feng Mo looked terribly disfigured. In fact Feng Mo was born with such horrible disfigurations, that his bastard of a father had left his poor mother after she refused to end Feng Mo´s life when he was a newborn. This left Feng Mo´s mother to barely scrape together a living every month to prolong Feng Mo´s sufferings. Feng Mo had been required by his mother to attend psychiatrist sessions monthly since he turned 7. It was around the time of Feng Mo´s 7 birthday that his people started to discover that he truly wasn´t only different on the outside, he was much more mature as a result of his disfigurement tormenting him from an early age, but it also brought him heavy hatred for this world and its people. Feng Mo was as close to a psychopaths emotionless behaviour as possible without being one. It wasn´t that he had no feelings, he just built an impenetrable mental fortress so strong that it also slowly smothered his emotions on a subconscious level. If this was allowed to go on for a decade or two he would truly become a true psychopath, even the psychiatrist could do almost nothing to break his mental fort. Feng Mo recently turned 15 years old which meant that he no longer had any feelings for this world other than a feeling of being meant to be more in his life, but not here nope Feng Mo could feel that something would change his life soon. Feng Mo´s mother had precisely been driving him to to his monthly psychiatrist sessions, which were paid for with the little money left behind from selling the small house Feng Mo´s father had left them with. Strangely when they were around halfway there when everything suddenly slowed considerably in Feng Mo´s eyes, shortly after he adjusted to this the car slowly started being crushed, like it had hit an invisible wall. Feng Mo quickly reacted and tried to take off his seatbelt, however he moved incomparably slowly. Feng Mo could only watch helplessly as the car slowly compressed together and started crushing the only being he had ever cared for in this incomparably hateful world. He had to watch as his mother slowly turned into a ground piece of meat with no change in expression, sending bood and pieces of flesh flying through the air like in zero gravity environments. Feng Mo sat unmoving simply watching this whole thing, when he finally thought it was over, most of his mother's hand seemingly floated past him softly brushing his cheek on its way, this moment seemed to last forever. When he finally realized that his mother was gone the car was already pressuring his legs, even if everything was barely moving Feng Mo could apparently still feel the pain of being slowly crushed. As a matter of fact it would have been a painless death if it had occurred at normal speed. Feng Mo had to deal with the agonizing pain of being crushed at snail speed without even being able to scream, when only his upper body hadn´t been crushed he abruptly pulled out of his shocked state, closing his eyes he cried a single tear of blood from his right eye. Feng Mo didn´t know it then but this very tear rolled down his right cheek before suddenly being absorbed back into his body, turning into a blood red skull mark on his right cheek. On a dimly lit twisting old road leading somewhere very dark, stood a young teenager with closed eyes, barely beginnig to recover his wits from the very recent shock and trauma. Soon the pain fully subsided making Feng Mo try opening his eyes even if he was certain he died, however it turned out he could still see. He was on a dim stone road leading to a pitch black door. Feng Mo instantly felt some tugging force at his mind which made him slowly walk towards the door. Feng Mo could feel extreme amounts of evil vibes around the door growing stronger with every step closer. Soon he arrived there and without being able to resist he walked through. It seemed like this door led to a place so close to collapsing that after Feng Mo passed the door nothing would ever go through this door again, not even light, to further strengthen that feeling the door crumbled to dust. Suddenly Feng Mo heard a rough voice whispering to him telling him to find it. Feng Mo could instinctually feel the approximate location of the voice without even being told where to look. He could feel that time was short and so he ran without any other options he could think of. However his disfigurement made it hard for him to run for a long time. Soon he arrived at an open grave, curious to find the owner of this mysterious voice he looked into the grave. In the grave there was a shockingly handsome male corpse with beautiful scales on its neck. Suddenly the corpse opened its eyes, and chanted a few sentences in a strange language. When the corpse finished its incantation the very fabric of existence trembled and a large rift opened behind Feng Mo. The corpse withered very fast releasing a golf ball sized ball from its mouth. This ball floated to Feng Mo´s chest level before trembling and forming into a pitch black heart. Feng Mo could feel that this heart was ancient perhaps even older than the Milky Way, the heart released massive amounts of raw chaos energy into the air, making the space tremble once again. Moments later like it had a mind of its own the heart smashed into Feng Mo´s chest making him fly backwards screaming in pain. Then finally everything flashed a blinding white and he fell unconciously into the rift at his back.
