Chapter 324 - Hoho, The Lens Should Be Able To Capture My Beauty, Right?

On the next day, Tsubaki, Ren and a team of photographers and stylists went to the cottage that would be the couple's future abode. Even though the cottage wasn't still fully-furnished, it had always been kept clean.

"The groom, move to the left a bit... Alright, hold the bride in that pose... One, two..."

Kacha!

The array of ginkgo trees in the backyard was in full golden color. As they glided down from the trees to the ground, it appeared like a golden shower fallen on the exquisitely dressed bride and the charming groom.

Tsubaki and Ren gave the photographers their full cooperation. In between the shots, they would take a short break whenever Ren felt like Tsubaki had been standing for too long. She could only cry without tears because her efforts to assert that she was alright were ignored by her husband.

"Mr. Fuse, we'll start to take photos candidly," The leader of the photographer team came forward and said, "You and Mrs. Fuse could do whatever you want. The photos would be touched up later."

"En," Ren gave him a slight nod.

After taking the official photos with both of them wearing a suit and a dress as well as kimonos, it was time to take the ones showing them in everyday clothes. They couldn't do much in this cottage because the place was still unfurnished, but the photographers suggested them walking around the yard as well as venturing out of the gate.

Ren wore a blue high-neck sweater and a pair of cream-colored long pants. Tsubaki chose a long dress in the same color yet she wore a cream-colored sweater over the dress. Both of them did as the photographers had told, enjoying their time as they usually did.

"Ah, I didn't expect having a wedding photoshoot would be so tiring," Tsubaki let out a sigh.

"Do you want to rest now?" Ren draped an arm over her shoulders and pulled her close to him.

"No! I could still go on," Tsubaki protested quickly, "I can't wait to see the final results. Hoho, the lens should be able to capture my beauty, right?"

"Yes, yes, you're the most beautiful bride," Even though Ren wanted to laugh at her words, he still went along with her antics.

"Humph! That should be it," Tsubaki folded her arms and put them over her chest.

Ren chuckled lightly. He shook his head in helplessness.

Changing into outfits cost time and energy. If not because this was a lifetime event, Tsubaki would have already said goodbye to this arduous task.

The dress and kimono designed by Ms. Noman were so exquisite. Tsubaki was deeply pleased by the opportunity she got to be able to wear the world-class designer's artworks.

Hey hey, even though she was still couldn't get used to throwing out money like how her husband did whenever he bought something, she should be selfish when it came to her wedding.

There was little to no woman who could resist the temptation of having a beautiful and dreamy wedding.

The husband and wife continued to bicker as they strolled out of the yard. The photographers stealthily followed them out to the road outside.

Tsubaki and Ren took this opportunity to familiarize themselves with this community. The neighbors who saw them were friendly as they greeted the couple.

"We've been wondering who are the owners of the beautiful cottage," One of the grandmothers said with a smile, "Hehe, we would have a new family here."

"Aiyo, how far along are you? Is this your first pregnancy?" Another one looked at Tsubaki's baby bump then her eyes shifted to Ren, "Take good care of your wife, lad. Don't let her suffer."

"I will," Ren was pleased with the elders' chattiness.

They wanted to invite the couple to their homes but Ren politely refused, saying there were in the middle of a wedding photoshoot. The old grandmothers exclaimed in excitement, saying they would be waiting for their wedding candies.

Before the grandmothers left, they said a few more good words, wishing Tsubaki a smooth delivery and for them to be able to settle down here soon.

"The grandmothers are so good," Tsubaki whispered to Ren while she waved her hands at the elders, "Aye, if only Mother and Granny could be here too."

It was still possible for Granny Sumiko to live in this community but, as for her mother, it was quite hard because this place didn't have a sanatorium with high medical facilities.

The other night, the caretakers mentioned that her mother began to vomit. Tsubaki was so troubled, she had almost gone there but her mother told her to not worry. Tsubaki was relieved when the doctors said her mother's situation had improved.

"We should move here when everything has been settled," Ren agreed, "We could raise our brats at the city first. There's no need to rush."

Although he was eager to build a new home with her and their children in this place soon, Ren still placed importance on her mother-in-law's condition.

The mother and daughter had just been reunited. If he and Tsubaki moved here right after the wedding, it would be hard for his wife to always go to the city to visit her mother.

They have to put their plan to move here on hold first. In the meantime, he himself wanted to settle the matter regarding handing over his position to Takuma.

Tsubaki and Ren turned at one of the intersections. They were greeted by a breathtaking view of rows and rows of ginkgo trees aligning the road. It was so much spectacular than the view from their backyard.

It was like a scene in a movie.

"When we come that day, the leaves have yet to turn to golden," Tsubaki tilted up her head and looked around in wonder, "Darling, this place is so beautiful! How could you even find a place like this?"

"Well, your husband is so capable, have you forgotten?" Ren was quick to praise himself. He had even shrugged his shoulders and smiled smugly.

Tsubaki pouted her lips and threw him a glare. Ren answered her with a peck on her lips. While she was struggling, the sneaky man kidnapped her to hide behind one of the trees and kissed her for a long time.

Tsubaki's legs felt so soft by the time she was released by the man with the mischievous smile. Ren chuckled as he nibbled on her lower lip.

Of course, every one of their affectionate moments was captured by the cameras. Tsubaki wanted to find a hole to bury herself when she saw the photographers' ears reddened despite their faces appeared so natural.

The photoshoot ended before the sun set.

They gathered inside a local restaurant to replenish themselves. After everything had been settled, all of them headed back to the city. Ren and Tsubaki followed along. Tsubaki slept peacefully. She couldn't rest much today because of the photoshoot.

While Tsubaki was sleeping, Ren was dutifully uploaded every single digital copy of the photos to the family group chat. He had even included the photos taken when he pulled his wife to hide behind the tree. One of the photographers changed his position, zoomed in the lens and managed to capture the moment they were kissing.

His eyes drifted to his sleeping wife.

Heh, if she knew he showed the photo in the group chat, he wondered how would she flare up.

Even so, Ren was still eager to show off. Ah, if his wife sulked, he had thousands of ways to coax her, hehe.
