Kabul, Afghanistan;
Hotel Casa Nawaazish, 23:00;
The establishment was initially set up with the safety of its guests in mind, more so than for money. The people who chose to reside here—well, they hailed from the world of darkness, carrying nothing but the stench of innocent blood. Terrorists, gangsters, murderers—the list was endless, really. It was a safe haven for those with no morals.
But as the years passed, Nawaazish worked to put on a mask of comfort and entertainment, for the rich, of course. From a personal butler for each guest and world-class restaurants to private golf clubs and an in-house arcade hall, this arc-shaped haven was the definition of elite. While its exterior reflected Middle Eastern royalty, its amenities screamed Western luxury.
