"What the hell is going on?!" Curtis shouted as more purple smoke started to fill into the room. Everyone got up and started to look around but their visions were started to blur. "We're being attacked!" Hammlyn shouted. "No you idiot!" Curtis shouted back but it was too late Hammlyn hit the alarm causing the mercenaries to become more confused. Arms, legs and various weapons were being swung around.
Curtis tried to shout out commands as he searched for the white owl but he couldn't even see his own hand in front of his face, the purple smoke was getting thicker as every second passed by. Suddenly a loud thud was heard, a gust of wind followed, Curtis rubbed his eyes before looking where the sounds were coming from.
