A Bentley Arnage car came into view at the Li's main resident. Several people were waiting at the front entry way ,most in uniforms and some in suits .
Li Jun got out of the car and a servant opened the car's side door. Yu Yan came out from inside the car wearing an indifferent mask on her face like Li Jun told her to. " Later, try to seem unapproachable. You don't have to answer to people's questions if you don't want to" He had said.
Li Jun took her right hand and hooked it around his left arm like a gentleman and walked into his unfamiliar 'home' like a king.
"Mr Li ,mrs Li please ..." The old Butler showed them to the dining hall respectfully. Li Jun nodded in acknowledgement.
As they entered the dining hall Yu Yan realized that they were the last one to arrive. Li Jun's parents were already seated and so were three of his siblings.
"Why are you so late?Have you forgotten your manners after marriage?" Li Chen, the second son asked in a calm voice contrary to the words that had came out of his mouth. Li Jun coldly looked over to where Li Chen was seated but looked at Yu Yan and didn't say anything.
"Yes brother Jun, dad and mom has been waiting for 10 minutes already" Li Fen the third sibling said in her sweet voice.
Li Fuhua only scoffed in irritation.
"Enough..Come sit down, Xiao Yan must be hungry." Li Jun's mother Meng Hua said dispassionately.
Li Jun looked at his mother and the empty glass of wine beside her, frowned but walked over to the two empty seats to the right of his father. He was about to sit down when his father spoke.
" Its alright I forgive his tardiness,he won't do it again next time"
The words seemed harmless enough and rather indulging but for some reason it incensed Li Jun.
Li Jun paused before sitting down and yelled for Butler Meng.
"Butler Meng, please come over here!" He yelled. The forty something years old man arrived in only a few seconds.
"Bring two chairs and place it on the opposite side of the table from 'My father'...make it quick ,don't make 'My father' wait". He had emphasized the word 'father' in mockery.He smirked dangerously and sauntered to the opposite side of the table with Yu Yan. Soon a feast was also served on the opposite side of the table.
Li Jun picked up his chopsticks and started eating uncaring of anyone. He would pick some good things after trying it and put it on Yu Yan's bowl occasionally.
The people on the other side watched these actions of his , in utter shock.
