"So you are aunty Si's son? I did not know you would be this big. You are already 12 years old now?" Li Jun smiled amicably, putting the boy's chart down.
"Umm.. yes brother in law. Has sister Yaner never told you about me before?" Liu Liu asked disheartened.
"hahaha.. of course she has. Don't worry. I did not know it was you since I only saw you from the back. You will understand a husband's heart when you grow up. I hope you don't blame me." Li Jun smiled disarmingly.
"I don't blame you brother in law. It's just... " Liu Liu hesitated. He remembered that sister Yu Yan had told his father that she was only a mistress in a rich family but on the way to the hospital, this man had said that he was sister Yu Yan's husband and his brother in law. Why did sister not tell him?Why did she lie?
"What?" Li Jun raised a sharp eyebrow.
"Sister did not tell me that she had married. I was also not invited.... Maybe I have troubled sister too much by seeking her out"
Liu became insecure. After all it had been more than two years since he had last spoken to sister Yu Yan. Maybe in these years, she had stopped caring about him.
Li Jun watched the boy quietly for a while.
"I can also call you Liu Liu right?" Li Jun asked and Liu Liu nodded slowly. "There are many things going on in your sister's mind.So, do not blame her for it. I am sure she has a reason not to find you sooner but I know her very well. She hasn't stopped caring about you nor aunty Si. She always talks about you and her very fondly" That was most of the truth after all. Li Jun has seen how much Yu yan worried over Liu Liu on their way to the hospital. Although, SHE HAD NEVER TOLD HIM THAT AUNTY SI HAD A SON.
It was only on the ambulance that Yu Yan screamed that the boy was aunty Si's son.
"Really?" Liu Liu felt much better.
Li Jun nodded.
"So, can you say some good words for this brother in law of yours? Your sister will kill me for hurting you later when she catches me alone" Li Jun dramatically shivered.
Liu Liu smiled. This brother in law was not bad. He seems to love Sister Yaner a lot. Maybe his wounds was a good price to pay to see his brother in law and sister.
"What are you talking about?" Yu Yan came in carrying a tray of drinks for her and Li Jun.
Li Jun jumped up taking the tray from Yu Yan's hands.
"Let me do it honey!. You must have received a shock earlier. Come, come, sit on this chair. It's the softest" Li Jun gestured at the sofa set across the room.
Yu Yan ignored her husband and went straight to Liu Liu's side ,checking on the IV drips hooked up to his arms.
"Liu Liu you must tell me if it starts to hurt again alright?. The doctor gave you just a little bit of pain killers for now but if it hurts so much, you need to let the doctors know as soon as possible okay?" Yu Yan gently ruffled Liu Liu 's hair.
" Umm sister I am okay , please don't worry so much" Liu Liu smiled sheepishly unused to such loving touch in so long.
"Also.." Yu Yan leaned in closer to Liu Liu. "Has that man apologized to you yet? Did he say some mean things to you when I had gone out?" Yu Yan whispered.
"Who? Brother in law?" Liu Liu asked confused. Why was sister talking like this about her own husband?
"En" Yu Yan nodded.
Liu Liu glanced at Li Jun who was seated far away on the couch ,drinking his green tea, looking unconcerned.
"Yes sis, bro in law apologized profusely after you went out. He told me that I had grown so much and my jacket was big so he thought I was a man taking advantage of you. I forgave him for this silly mistake already.Plus because of this,I can stay with you more and also meet bro in law." Liu Liu smiled.
"okay, Good" Yu Yan sat back down satisfied and looked at Liu Liu lovingly.
Liu Liu glanced again at Li Jun and now Li Jun was giving him a thumbs up.
'Eh? bro in law has such good hearing power. I thought I didn't say it too loud' Liu Liu thought.
"I spoke to your father and he said that you can stay with me until you get better. So don't worry too much and go to sleep okay?" Yu Yan said suddenly. She was smiling but when she remembered the warning and reminder from Mr Leng to give the file to Li Jun she could not help but become stressed again.
She also had to beg Mr Leng to allow her to take care of Liu Liu for a few days. If she let Liu Liu go back to that place like this, who knows how the Leng family would treat him.
"Really? He allowed? I wish father would allow us to be together always sis. I wish he was not so mean to you always." Liu Liu was ecstatic and forgot his surroundings.
Yu Yan felt a pang of guilt seeing the happiness on Liu Liu's face.

"Who is your father?" Li Jun suddenly asked. He did not like the sad expression on Yu Yan's face on hearing the boy's words.
No body bullies his wife except him.
"Hh.. huh?" Yu Yan said startled.
"Liu Liu's father. How come I have not heard about him till now?" Li Jun demanded.
"He.. he is no one important. You don't need to know everything" Yu Yan replied guiltily.
Li Jun frowned so hard Yu Yan thought he was going to go berserk again. But she wouldn't tell him until she dies.
"He is called Mr Leng Zhang. He is the President of Leng Textiles. He is only my biological father and I don't like him at all. He threatened sister Yan er earlier too." Liu Liu said deliriously from his bed. The medicine in his system was making him more drowsy by the second.
"Liu Liu! " Yu Yan gasped and yelled. " don't talk nonsense!"
Li Jun smiled at the boy.
"Good boy." He praised.
A little boy had more sense in him than his stubborn wife.
Liu Liu ignored Yu Yan's words.
"Bro in law, you need to take care of your wife better. As a man you have to be responsible for your wife and not allow others to bully her.Not even my father. Especially my father...." Liu Liu was half closing his eyes by now.
"Just sleep. You don't need to speak so much" Yu Yan tried to shut him up desperately.
Li Jun chuckled.
"Looks like the cat is out of the bag my dear wife." Li Jun said then added somberly ..
" I think we need to talk"
