"It's all his fault" Yu Yan typed on the laptop furiously.
Yu Yan was having a bad day. As soon as she had arrived at the office, the manager had given her long pages of contracts and official documents to type out and on top of that everyone was behaving weirder than the day before.
In a way, the added work was a bit of a relief, what with her friends and colleagues avoiding her like the plague.
Yu Yan typed on depressed.
It was getting worst with each passing day.
"It's all his fault" Yu Yan said loudly into her empty cabin.
"Why is everyone so odd today. I spoke to Xiao Lin and she and her friends ignored me blatantly." Yu Yan had asked Feng Mian at work after the night of the party. But, Feng Mian had also ignored her to her great surprise.
Feng Mian had not spoken to Yu Yan since the night of the party and slowly she found out that there was a weird rumour floating around about her.
"Is she really married?"
"I personally heard her confessing that she got married"
"I heard that it is an old man - a very distant relative of the Li family"
"Is that why she hid her marriage?"
"I would also hide my marriage if i married a saggy old man"
"Now i know how she got this job."
"She came from a public college. She has not even completed her higher studies.This explains a lot. She got the job by a dirty way"
"I was always wondering about that, now it make sense"
"I heard she has an affair with the Fengfu enterprise's CEO too."
"Yes, an eye witness saw them hugging together"
"What a dirty slut! I am just disgusted by even looking at her. She married an old man and now is pushing for someone younger and better?"
" She even looks so innocent"
All her co workers gave her obvious dirty looks since the party.
Yu Yan was quiet through it all. She sucked it all up and did not complain. She did not even tell Li Jun about it.
He would obviously react badly again. He was so irrational some times.
'And lately he is acting like everything is okay too. Like he didn't just nearly kill an innocent old man. He had not even deemed it necessary to apologize to the old butler..'
With that thought Yu Yan typed an entry incorrectly.
" Damn! that son of a bitch! He continues to bother me even when he is not here. Double damn!" She hissed when she made another wrong entry.
She continued to type on the laptop furiously.
"Even Duan Syaoran is ignoring me.And he is supposed to be the most rational one in the group." She complained to herself.
" If I had known they would react so badly, I would have told them i married their big boss from day one. Then they would cower around me saying 'Madam Li please sit, Madam Li please eat'... aargh, It would be so fake"
Yu Yan cringed imagining herself being called Madam Li respectfully by her so- called friends.
"It's all that bastard's fault for sending brother Chongkun and the rest over to Feng Mian's party. That Ren Hao Pan especially. Aaahhh... which planet did he drop in from?. It's all Li Jun's fault. That bastard Li Jun! He attracts all the weird and rich people".
Yu Yan grumbled. She only stop typing when she received a sudden text.
She couldnt believe her eyes when she read who it was from.
[ Hello sister Yu Yan, I don't know if you remember me. It's Lil Niu Niu.....I am here at Cafe X.. I need... ]

BACK AT LI JUN'S MAIN OFFICE
" AATHCHOO..."
"Do you have a cold sir?" Secretary Tao asked mid sentence.
"No. Continue what you were saying" Li Jun permitted.
Secretary cleared his throat again and continued.
"Boss, first you will hide in the alley." Secretary Tao said mysteriously. "She will come running. My paid men will run behind her...It will be raining... she is running. Boss, you cannot show your face yet.". Li Jun lifted a brow as he heard about men chasing his wife in a darkened alley. " But..but ofcourse don't worry my paid men will not harm her in anyway, just chase her around." Secretary Tao added quickly. "She will grow desperate and tired soon. When that happens...Boss will rush out of the shadows..DUN DUN DUN! Boss will save madam by fighting off the bad men and she will be impressed with your strength and hug you tightly. Aah... it will be so sweet. She will be grateful to you for saving her life and love you more.She will automatically forgive you ,boss." Secretary Tao cooed romantically
Li Jun's dark eyes stared expressionlessly at his secretary.
Secretary Tao was worried. Did he like the idea or not?.

"Its a good idea .I will give you that. But it wouldn't work on my wife. She wouldn't run towards dark places. She will call the cops first and hide behind people."
"Sir, believe me it will work.How can we know for sure if we don't try first."
"Umm.. It's not going to work. I might have tried the same idea once myself." Li Jun thoughtfully confessed. " She is too smart. She suspected me right away too.So weird."
Li Jun recalled the time he had indeed tried this method after seeing it in a Hollywood movie called 'I want you so, I shall have you' but Yu Yan called the cops so fast and ran to a busy shop ,shouting bloody murders until the hired goons ran away and police sirens blared all around. She saved herself and later suspected him too.
Those times were painful for Li Jun to recall...Oh the blue balls!
The plan wouldnt work especially now with the added problems of round the clock bodyguards. She would never fall for it.
"OH." Secretary Tai said disappointed.
"What else can you come up with?" Li Jun asked.
Secretary Tao beamed again.
"You can try making her jealous. A beautiful woman will walk out with you , on a moonless night.."
Li Jun slammed on his table as soon as the words left secretary Tao's lips.
"You want us to divorce directly? Do you even know why I hired you in the first place?If Secretary Catherine was a man, I would never hire a useless person like you. GET OUT NOW!!"
Secretary Tao bowed sheepishly , not understanding exactly what the boss meant and closed the door after himself.
Li Jun paced around his office in anger.
"Useless idiot. He wants me to separate? Everyone knows that my baby girl hates unfaithful cheaters the most" Li Jun reverently fixed the fallen picture frame of him and his beautiful wife on their wedding day. He had slammed into the wood a little too hard just now.
He picked up his phone and dialled Shi Chongkun. Maybe his old friend could give him an idea.
The line was picked up.
"Ah haha. I have been waiting for your call for three whole days.I knew you would call me soon enough.
"Then why did you wait. Why not just call me yourself? Didn't we also have breakfast together?" Li Jun snapped at his friend.
"Where's the fun in that huh?" Shi Chongkun laughed in a way he knew irritated Li Jun the most.
"So tell me what should I do?"
"About. what?"
"You know.."
"Ask the question and the answer shall be given to you..... hahahah.."
Li Jun hung up, irritated.
His phone rang again. The caller? His best friend. He swiped the red button.
So irritating. He would figured it out by himself. Hmm just need to think. How did he woo her in the first place??
His phone rang again. He let it ring on its own. He was deep in his thoughts. He didn't need Shi Chongkun's help.
"Sir! I called you..." Greg suddenly ran into his office unannounced after a few minutes had passed.
Li Jun stood up tensed. It had to be something important for Greg to run up so suddenly.
"What happened?!"
"Yu Yan. I meant madam Li.. is gone!" Greg Said breathless.
