Dressing Room.
Misha sat on a stool facing the mirror in front of her. As she recounted the times that Lyndon had surprised her before, she couldn't hide her smile in her beautiful face. She reminisced the time that they were in Paris together and there, they become an official couple; committed to each other. She had asked his forgiveness for her planned revenge. She did not want that things like those will have a toll on their relationship one day.
As she put the earrings on her earlobes, she remembered the time when she was on shoot with Brandon in that abandoned cemetery.
He had given her a macchiato and she had him a flying kiss. Cheesy? It maybe but that was the official turning point of their relationship.
That night, Lyndon booked the entire restaurant floor in Eiffel Tower which they had dined romantically over. She had long dreamt that the man she will choose would take her there to watch scenery and bonus, if he could take her to dine. What Lyndon had done was out of her expectations because she did not firmly believe that he really have loved her over the years. She did not even forgot the things that Lyndon said to her.
"You know what, time had proven that no matter how long I waited, it was all worth it. No matter how many women I have tried to love in the past, it was still in vain because they were not you. I tried to erase your existence in my heart and mind but failed to do so. These feelings even grew stronger when I accepted that I am in love with you and if it's not you, I'd rather remain single for the rest of my life."
Saying this, Misha came to tears. She cried because she felt happy and at the same time guilty. She did know that he's inlove with her but not to this extent. She thought that it was just a shallow feelings he have but she was wrong and truthfully admitted it to herself and to him. She found the resolution of confessing the truth about her revenge on him.
"I have the feeling that you are inlove with me. But I did not know how deep and real it is. I... am now speechless. This is more terrifying than facing the demon-king. Haha! You know what, I planned to extort you, you know. I only approved this marriage when I made sure that your name was Lyndon Lincoln. I did not know that you were not the one who broke my heart and I felt ridiculed that time. I felt that I made like a fool by you or by Leonard rather. So, I planned to get revenge but thinking about it, it felt ridicullous. I was like a kid. I just wanted to ask your forgiveness and I promise to you that from this time on, I will always be honest to you. No secrets, no lies." she said with all the sincerity in her voice.
Those thoughts lingered in her mind so well. It was etched on the depths of her heart and mind. After she placed the diamond studs on her earlobes, she then looked at herself in the mirror. The woman in front of her, brimmed happiness and contentment.
The stylist soon came in with a make up box with her. She smiled at Misha and began her work.
