Chapter 95 - Draconian Attack (5)

Seeing the purple draconian fly towards Urcaguary, Leo started to panic. He had to save his new master no matter what.

"Lucy, cover me," Leo yelled as he pulled out two gems. Those two gemstones were the very ones he practiced on during his training underground.

Leo took off running towards Urcaguary as the battlefield was still chaotic. Many fire blasts were fired at Leo, but Lucy blocked it with wind and ice barriers as she followed Leo.

"What is Leo thinking? What can he do to a Construct warrior?" Lucy asked herself.

Jumping up on a large rock, Leo could see Urcaguary encased in vines. Leo threw the two gems towards Urcaguary. Seeing two projectiles flying towards the rock-man, Spyrir stopped midflight.

The two gemstones exploded with yin and yang mana upon contact. A massive smokescreen covered Urcaguary.

Urcaguary used this small window of opportunity to escape the vines and disappear. The steam settled and Spyrir only saw the vegetation that wrapped Urcaguary up in shreds.

"Where did he go?" the purple draconian asked.

Suddenly, the ground cracked, and several large boulders were thrown at Spyrir. Each massive rock crashed into the draconian. Spyrir used mana infused claw strikes to destroy each one.

"Golden Fist!" Hiding behind one of the boulders, Urcaguary punched out with his strongest metal mana martial art.

Spyrir tried to block the blast but was blew backward into the ground.

Urcaguary was not going to let the draconian rest. He then changed the soil around Spyrir into crystal and launched them at him.

Spyrir, picking himself off the ground, activated a mana barrier. The barrage of gems destroyed the shield and several hundred shards stabbed into Spyrir.

With each hand, Spyrir ripped out the crystals sticking in him. "Damn, that rock-man." Gritting his teeth, Spyrir unleashed his Dharma. A massive Space Beast showed up behind him. All the mana in the area regardless of the element gathered around Spyrir. A new purple aura formed around him.

"I guess I need to get serious too," Urcaguary said to himself. He activated his own Dharma. His Dharma took the form of a giant emerald surrounded by hundreds of gold chains. The golden armor on Urcaguary shined and started to emit this glowing aura.

Spyrir leaped from the ground and floated in the air. Raising his claw above him, a large mana orb formed in Spyrir's palm. All the energy he gathered from before moving to his palm into the sphere of power. The ball started to grow in diameter and turn a dark purple. The Space Beast Dharma that looked like a dragon just flapped its wings behind Spyrir.

Urcaguary flew directly at him with his Dharma in tow. Urcaguary knew he would have to take the assault head on to counterattack the draconian.

Spyrir released the devastating attack and lightning and wind crackled around it. The massive patriarch colored sphere was heading directly for Urcaguary.

Urcaguary fused with his Dharma and attacked the orb with his whip. The whip was deflected, and Urcaguary took ninety-five percent of the blast.

Smoke and dust flew outward. Spyrir was exhausted and panting heavily. "I finally defeated him." Thinking about it, he wondered where that smokescreen that allowed Urcaguary to escape came from. Looking away towards the wall, he spotted two humans fighting draconians. Squinting his eyes, he was able to see the two metal arms and black-haired human.

Right as Spyrir was about to fly over and squash the two bugs, two-thousand golden chains burst from the smoke and wrapped around Spyrir. He tried to maneuver away from them, but as soon as one snagged his ankle, he was encased by them.

Urcaguary flew up from the smoke. His golden armor was cracked, and so was much of his stone body.

"You think this will hold me," Spyrir retorted. As soon as he tried to break free, he realized too late this attack absorbed mana from him. This caused Spyrir to release his Dharma and most of his body to go limp.

"Yes, I do think it will hold you." The golem said proudly. Urcaguary was tired. After two battles he was ready to rest, but looking at all the draconians, he knew he needed to kill the remaining ones before he lost any more golems.

Just as Urcaguary was thinking this a large purple flame ripped through his chains setting Spyrir free.

"Spyrir run!"

Spyrir looked down to see his heavily damaged brother holding his bastard sword. Then with the last bit of his mana, Beodror bellowed, "Draconians retreat!" Beodror fell to the ground hanging onto the last bits will he could muster.

Hearing the call for retreat, many of the low leveled draconians started to head down the mountain.

Spyrir looked at Urcaguary and knew he had to run. Using the remaining mana, he could gather, Spyrir blasted off. Controlling the wind element, there was no way for Urcaguary to catch him.

Seeing the purple draconian fly away, Urcaguary didn't bother to chase. He did activate his ultimate martial art, and golden chains sprung up all over the battlefield.

Down on the wall, Leo and Lucy were battling a few draconians.

"Lucy, watch out for his spear," Leo yelled trying to warn her. Right before she could set up a barrier, a golden chain erupted from the ground and wrapped around the draconian.

Leo was amazed and looked towards the other two. He then realized they were trapped too. The chains tightened on the draconians having them scream out in pain.

Several draconians all over were encased and trapped in place. The ones who escaped were the small fries that left early. Then with a loud snap, the hundreds of draconians that were chained down were drug underground and crushed.

All that was left was draconian blood seeping to the surface of the soil.

Just like that the battle in Machu Pichu came to an end, but little did they know the fight north of there was just heating up.
