He started to walk acrossed the field to her but stopped a few feet away, Ivory just stared at him. His eyes burned with lust, a body just built for sin and lips made to devour anything they touched. She could tell this male in front of her was made for war but damn it could be used for many other naughty things. Ivory couldn't be sure if he heard her growle before or not but she wanted to know more about this man who seemed to make her cross the last feet between them and cuddle up in his arms.
Ivory looked up to the sky trying to clear her thoughts of him but his sent was all she could smell; spring rain, fall and walking in the woods during the fall all in one. It dawned on her why it was so formilly, its was the sent from her dream! Ivory couldn't believe it, was this a way for the Goddess to tell her that this man shes been dreaming of is her true mate? She couldn't be sure if he knew she was a shifter with her growle before but she had to find out what he was doing here and if he was one of the people the Goddess was talking about. So Ivory stayed not running like her body was telling her to. She decided to ask the questions that have running around in her hear the past few seconds, "Do you know who I am? Who are you? And what are you doing on my land?" She pierced him with a look that scared the hell of most people, even her own father.
The male just looked at her with eyes still burning in lust, "I'm not sure who you are but I know that with you saying that this is your land that you are a shifter. So would you care to tell me your name or do I have to use my body to make you tell me what I want to know?"
Ivory burst out laughing, not sure if this guy was horny or just plain old nuts! She couldn't believe that he would even want her in that way with him knowing she was a shifter. She knew she had to talk to the Goddess so Ivory started digging through her pockets trying to find the stone, finally her hand brushed against the stone. Pulling it out, she looked at the guy because she was watching her, "I have to talk to the Goddess if you would like to talk to her with me? Or would you not like to?"
The guy just looked at her like she was the one who was nuts and not him, yet he didn't seem to remember the comment he made earlier. Rolling her eyes at him Ivory went back to the task at hand, closing her eyes and bring the stone to her lips she said the words to power the stone so her words would reach the Goddess's ears "Goddess Metis of wisdom and prudence, Stand with us within the night. Free our souls of grief and pain, That love shall be our truest gain. Together let our love now blend, For unto all a peace we shall send. Goddess Mother of wisdom and prudence, You hold our hearts in love this night."
"Yes my daughter, what is it that you need?"
"Can you tell me about this guy in front of me?"
Ivory heard the Goddess chuckle lightly and answered, "That's he's a shifter or something else?"
Now is was Ivory's time to laugh, "I already put things together that he was one but is he one of the ones that you told me about before and is he my mate?"
The Goddess was quit for a few seconds before she answered back, "Yes he is one of the people I was talking about and as for him being your mate that will something I will leave to be revealed in due time."
