As Seiryo went downstairs, he checked his phone and found several missed calls from Shi. He frowned and picked up the current call.
"I have been trying to get in contact with you. What happened?" Shi asked.
"What do you mean?"
"Well, my new boss implied something had gone wrong with Misaki and your girlfriend. I thought the worst." Shi sounded relieved.
"She really does not know how to keep private things private." Yagi sighed with frustration. "It is not anything much. It looks like Julianna was working with your brother, but she had her own agenda, so she decided to get some leverage on me."
"Did you manage to rescue them in time?" She asked.
Yagi laughed. "I did nothing. It looks like they can take care of themselves."
Shi was silent for a moment before he laughed. "It is a good thing, given your life. I hope your ego did not take a hit."
