Back at the school, Misaki found a hiding spot in the music room. It was the farthest place from the lobby, and it had a lot of instruments to cover her body. She remained silent, hoping that the security guards or someone would come to help.
Unfortunately, she was not so lucky.
After a long wait, she heard people in the corridor looking for her with anger.
"She is just a little girl? How hard can it be to find her?" Someone shouted.
"Keep shouting and let her know we are coming," Another man retorted. "And it is precisely because she is small that we cannot find her. She could be hiding in a desk."
"We will turn everything upside down until we find her."
Misaki felt fear as she listened to them opening the doors violently and turning things over, looking for her. She did not think they would leave the music room unturned. If she did not do something, she would end up captured, and Teacher Shio's sacrifice would be in vain.
