The ambience in the Yagi house was warm and lively as dinner was served. Seiryo looked at his lively dinner table and felt that a life like this was worth fighting for. Emi was seated on his right hand, and Misaki was on his left.
Misaki was telling her about Grandpa Minaduki's custard dessert with exaggerated praise. Yagi smiled with satisfaction as if he could see his future. Even the uninvited Inei could not bring his mood down.
"Thank you for accommodating me, Mr Yagi," Inei said with a snarky tone.
Yagi was not fazed by the future brother-in-law, who seemed determined to get in his way. The fact that Inei was willing to come to his house showed that he was open to the relationship. It was a matter of time before he won him over.
"You are welcome at any time." He replied graciously.
