Emi did not waste time after accomplishing her goal. If it was any other time, she would have bugged her older brother until he confessed Shi's identity. But that would have to wait. She called Shi as soon as she left Inei's bedroom.
The man answered in a low and emotionless tone.
"Who is this?"
"Hello. This is Emi." She said in a friendly tone.
"Miss Shio, how can I help you?" He asked calmly.
"I am looking for Yagi. His phone is off." She replied.
Shi knew that Inei had not told her about the infection. After all, he was barely conscious when they left the house, and his phone was probably still on the office desk. He weighed his options for a short moment before he decided it was alright to loop her in.
If Yagi did not mess up, he might be able to bring the beauty home.
"He is in the hospital." Shi paused. "The bite wound got infected."
"Is he alright?" Emi felt her heart sink.
