We also have demi-humans races, humans, elves, dwarves, dragonkin ...etc you get my point.
God: You will have to stop the upcoming wars between countries unless you don't want your head to be chopped off or you be forced to join the military so I gave you a head start you know about the information so I'll give you three abilities and some consideration on what race you want to be since you be starting as a baby like everyone but I push the time back so it has a good amount of time to grow so what will you choose.
Eric: Man…. so being any type of being that can talk or be related to humans will either be put in the military against their will and fight for the country or be killed because I'm in the country the enemy hates that's messed up I wouldn't want to be human or related to it so I guess I'll be an animal then.

God: that made my day but to put the jokes aside so since you want to be an animal the princess won't be able to know if you are friend or foe so I make it so you can transform into three forms instead of just the animal form so you can talk to her at least so what animal and what abilities do you want.
Eric: I always wanted to be a lion so I'll choose that one and the three abilities I want is the strength, and since lions don't live long I want an immortal ability and last a dark ability
God: why a dark ability?
Eric: because black is my favorite color and I didn't know what to choose for my third one.
God: oh ok then I'm sending you to the world Acacia good luck ~ oh I forgot to tell you I'm sending you 25 years in the past and since you choose the lion your personality might change and since you choose the animal you must eat your victim or kills to gain their skills also if you don't find the princess before she dies you will relive same damn nightmare whenever she dies good luck~
