Dear Achilles,
I've asked around the neighborhood. I've asked your friends and family. And finally, someone was able to give me your address. Wait a second, I know what you're thinking. "Is she a stalker or something? Why'd she get my address?" But you needn't think that way. First of all, how dare you accuse me of being a stalker. I am no stalker. Second, I have no intention of visiting your humble abode. The thing is, I've finally decided to send these letters to you. I don't want to expect anything from a coward who left me to protect himself, but I just can't help it. I hope you write back, but I know that I shouldn't hope for something from you. I 'm not asking you to read my letters and decide to come rushing back to me (though that would be nice). I'm just asking for a reply from you just so I know that you're not rotting in some garbage dump in the middle of nowhere. I don't need you to love me again. As long as I love you and I know you're okay, then I'm fine (but if you wanted to love me again then I'm also fine with that). I just want a reply. Is that too much to ask? Anyway, this is my final letter. I hope you don't miss me too much.
Love,
Cardia
