Raion "What is this I'm feeling? Everything has gone dark. I don't remember what had happened? Everything feels different somehow, I feel different. Am I okay?"
Raion had gone completely insane moments before. He was ultimately a whole other person. Everything about him had changed, from his appearance to his personality. It was all so new yet would he be able to truly go back to his formal self? Before he had turned himself into a shadow, had met Baskia, lost Fourth, met Veter and Koron? All of this, could he actually go back?
Raion "I can't seem to move my body. It aches though not as much as I would imagine. Wait why was I coming down here again? That's right I need to rescue Fourth I can't just lay here, yet again I can't move. What should I do?"
Baskia "Raion! Raion, answer me!"
Raion "Someone's calling my name, it's faint but I can hear it. I should answer, shouldn't I?"
Veter pulls himself up with the little strength he had left, leaning against the wall to hold himself up. "Raion?"
Baskia "Veter, you shouldn't stand up!? You're injured."
Veter " It's okay I'm fine. I have to get up. Someone has to make sure Raion is okay."
Baskia gives Veter this guilty look and bows his head down in shame.
Veter "What's with that face of yours?"
Baskia "You're right... and it has to be you. I've managed to fail myself, you and Raion. Look at where I'm at right now. I couldn't even come to your aid let alone to help Raion. You're both in pain and I'm stuck here like an idiot because of a stupid and careless mistake I've made! Why can't I ever do anything right?! Tell me Veter, just say it. I'm nothing but a disappointment!"
Veter "Just shut up already would you."
Baskia "Huh? I..."
Veter takes a look over at Raion who's laying on the ground covered in the glass balls from Veter's spell, some still implemented into his skin.
"Even with all the damage that is done to Raion physically and mentally he still looks so peaceful. Sorry for this Raion I know you'll be okay now, there's just no way you wouldn't survive something of that intensity. I know that."
Baskia "Veter what are you talking about?"
Veter slowly drags himself over towards Baskia, wincing at each step that he makes and ignoring the tremendous amount of misery that he had been feeling. The only thing that was important to Veter and was on his mind, was Baskia.
Baskia "Veter? Why are you?! Shouldn't you check on Raion!"
Veter doesn't acknowledge the words that are coming out of Baskia mouth, all he is doing is heading straight towards Baskia.
Baskia "Veter please you shouldn't push yourself this far! Don't come any closer! I don't want to watch you flinch with pain!" He covers his hands into his face, hiding his tears away from Veter. "I've cried too much since meeting Veter. I no longer want him to see me so fragile. " He says to himself.
Veter "It's because of you that I'm coming over here." He gently lifts Baskia chin up and removes his hands from his face. The only thing that Veter can see now is the tears falling down Baskia's face. "It's because of you that I can walk over here and ignore my pain. It's because you had the courage to come to my care, to think so much for me and to risk your safety, that you are stuck in this mess. That reason alone is why you are not a disappointment to anyone especially me." Veter boldly takes hold of Baskia by the collar of his shirt bringing him inches away from his face. Baskia was taken by surprise by the sudden actions of Veter. All he can do at most is sit there looking at the earnest expression on Veter's face.
Baskia " I...ah.." Is all he can manage to mutter.
Veter "It's the reason that I've fallen so foolishly for you."
Baskia "Ve...te...r? I... I."
Veter then passionately kisses Baskia making sure not to break away from him. Baskia sits there remaining stationary, his tears still trickling down his face and onto Veter.
Veter removes himself from Baskia and lightly licks the top of his lip. Baskia immediately covers his hand over his mouth in embarrassment.
Veter "Mhmm taste salty."
