Chapter 13 - Terraforming

The bead of light continually glowed blindingly in his forehead and his existence was wrapped up, seemingly ablaze. A time for someone to drink a cup of tea, it's final shine concluded.

(Author: A cup of tea = 10 minutes)

His unearthly body responded with a new awareness. A new sensation had overcomed his being.

Creeping and crawling on his skin, conspicuous flow of amiable energy penetrated his tender flesh. His microscopic pores greedily absorbed.

Streaming inside his luscious body, his perpetually revitalized cells seemed to be augmented in its extent of strength. Every brief of time, he became the more powerful.

His conjecture was that; ever since his inconceivable transformation, he already consumed the surrounding's energy.

What happened here, after the seemingly metamorphosis, his mighty puissant mind effloresce it's illimitable hidden potential. He had only perceived it right now after his mind awakened.

He had also speculated that after dealing his first blistering tribulation, the powers inexplicably unlocked for themselves.

'It was like being tested' He deemed. After his experience, massacring the whole world; his disposition ultimately turned to be placid. He unnescessarily didn't want to use his enthralling mouth to speak.

Even if what he thought was real or not, there were countless out there who must be excruciatingly experiencing things harsher than him. It may be to a point that his was practically negligible.

This ordeal was meant to steel his spirit and soul. Because without a firm will and heart, he could easily be succumbed by any situations and circumstances. And he knew that profound truth as he could facilely comprehend it.

One more thing, the unfathomable power which was originally from his forehead seemed to had integrated with him. It fused into his essences, his origins.

He reckoned that he could teleport himself, not the other way around.

The first time when he conceived the power, he had an intuition that it could not be employed to oneself. An ability attaining anything except that he couldnt empower and transport himself.

But right now, he could achieve it. The law of space and time resonated with him. The pertinent particles seemed to abide his will. His dominance over them was as if slaves' obeisance to its master. But as magically wondrous as it is, Yuehan was not the least excited.

The waves of the aether bended accordingly in his control and a touch of primordial age eclipsed him with its eternity.

His bleak mood tend to search nostalgia as a superficial idea of a planet fleeted into his mind. An ordinary world based on structure of the earth, the effulgence treasures coalesced by the essences of the soil, the precise interchanging of warmth and cold, the regular wild and untamed animals, buzzing insects and mini species, plants and trees, humans, solar system, star and a moon, and other such things.

He vanished and warped into...

A devastated world.

It is indeed like Earth. Such size and shape were coequal.

However, the planet's life force was nighly diminished based on its decayed energy. It could be considered that it had already perished.

Trees were pitch black and distorted in a withered fashion. Dense spots of black tinted the surface the cracked lands. The water was bygone. The air was deficit.

Yuehan didn't need consumption of oxygen. Inhaling odors and exhaling it were the only current functions. He didn't also have a use for hydration as well as perennially not being tired mentally or physically. Disadvantages of a mortal vanished from his divine self.

Soaring in the cloudless skies, souls were nonextant, destroyed by natural circumstances.

This foreign world exuded a different sensation from his home world.

Movement stopped, he teleported into the ground.

(Author: From now on, as the mysterious power of our MC does need to glow again when employed, and there would be no longer an indication; I've decided to let his ordinary teleportation remained it's term as "teleport" and the mysterious power be termed as "warp".)

He let his index finger touched the squalid earth. He instinctively used psychometry.

(Author: Psychometry is the ability to obtain information about a person or an object by touch.)

The full past of the planet was drawn and engraved into his memories.

There were no humans in its history as well as intelligent species. Primitive creatures roamed in the ancient times, evolving as generations came. Bearing resistant genes in their bodies, they lived through harsh environments. They drank through black liquid, extracting correct water from its poisonous properties. Looking unsightly and extremely different from the creatures of Earth, they didn't survived in the end.

Veiling in the blazing light, dead creatures slowly decomposed in the black tinted land until they were none. Having no carbon dioxide, trees and plants slowly withered. Lacking in health, they were drastically influenced by the corrosive black properties.

The reason was unknown and he had to figure it out by himself.

He "warped" a thick book and he caught it into his grasp. It was based from his general idea of books based on literature world of Earth.

Fully covered in dust, it exuded an ancient time. In contrast, it's cover entitled "Terraforming Planets", entailing a modern content.

Only a look, Yuehan speculated it came from a great civilization with thousands of years of history. Gaining an ancient sense, the book must had slipped into the long ages. The civilization's level at that time was unknown.

But this book didn't apply into a standard of a real book. Notably, all the contents were only opinions, remarkably. Clearly, it backed up a great history.

However, Yuehan didn't bother. Reading all the thoughts stated in the opinions through the words, phrases, and random sentences in the book, he comprehended immediately.

With his extreme precision and accuracy, no mistakes was done in his breakneck speed of flipping the pages. By his divine body, such speed is nothing. With a unique style and technique whimly created on the spot, he easily managed to see all the words in every flip.

With his extreme intelligence coupled with his photographic memory, comprehension finished in a time of a breath.

(Author: A breath = 2 seconds)

Most of the contents were effortlessly understood. Although he didn't perceive everything, it was due to the reason that he had no foundation in this field of subject.

Leaving the not gained knowledge in the back of his mind, a day he could deduce it would come.

By analogy; using an example in mathematics, it is how you only knew of addition and subtraction. When it comes to multiplication or division when you didn't even know the use and meanings of the symbols of × and ÷, it was impossible to know how.

Yuehan comprehended most of it as there were many references he could derive in the notes that he easily deduced it.

Again by analogy, you didn't know what was multiplication but the notes said that 2 × 3 = 6. You could infer immediately through deliberation that thrice the 2 was 6 or twice the 3 was 6.

Due to that, with Yuehan's otherworldly intellectuality, almost of the book was casually understood. Only leaving the unknown such as the formulas of sin, cos and tan. Include also the cot, csc, and sec.

With a casual uplift of his hand, Yuehan thought as he moved, 'Air Pressure'. A dense amount of gases were warped and appeared in the liberated atmosphere. The atmosphere's freedom was took back swiftly and now in back to its fetter from the dense gas molecules filling it.

Yuehan commenced the regain of the sap of this planet's life and enhance back its alluring verdure.

He started his very first terraforming.
