The mixture of orange and pink sky was unusually bright, sending millions of yellow-ish rays below the surface as it hits on the beige and pastel ground. It's cotton clouds that soar through the heavens seems to get thicker and thicker almost devouring the heavens.
Yet below this unusual sky is a city stand mightily, protected by the concrete walls from the danger of outside.
Never let anyone get in nor get out. Although the walls were built a thousand of years ago they never forget the teaches of their ancestors. To never let anyone roam outside the city walls for the rest of the world is different than inside.
But to Eludione he think of it as a prison.
He scrub and scrub the cobblestone stairs of a rich family he work in. Earning two bronze coins a day enough for a meal for one to two person but in Eludione's case. He share his earnings with his mother and siblings. He work from day to night gaining a salary that isn't enough for him and his mother as his two brothers and a three year old sister that barely knows how to speak need it more than they do. He stop for a minute from what his doing and let his mind sink in a daydream he knew a billion of years would pass before he could achieve it.
He dream of a dinner with his mother and siblings . A table full of foods and desert presented before them on a silver platter. As they chat and laugh through the night drinking wine. But this though were always been a dream for him. A dream that he could freely escape for the poverty to which they are lock in. Hoping for a key to set them free... but the key seems to be lost in the wilderness of their reality.
He continue to brush the stairs with soap and water until the madam of the house came in. Looking at him as if he had done something wrong.
"You lazy child! you didnt do anything right... Look! Look at what you've done on my stairs. You scrath it!" She shriek in a exaggerated manner
"But it's just a stair"
"Just a stair? Do you know how much that stair cost us. In this world even a toilet worth fiftty Bronze coin that even you and your family couldn't afford" She said as she grab Eludione's arm and swing him around so that he could face her impending glare.
"You know what two coins can afford you. A trash bin! where you and your mother heck even all you needy person should be lying in the dump" She hump and then walk away with her eyes burning in rage. He is used by this kinds of scenario its never new to him, him getting shouted at by different kinds of people with various complain and reason but getting scold at because of a concrete stair was possibly the weirdest and shallow reason to get angry to.
But before he get a lone time for himself. A middle age man no younger than forty walk toward him with an unreadable expression. It was either worried, fear or hopeless. Either way he knew it wouldn't be great. Maybe he would be punch by this man or kick him in the gut like his previous owners did when they felt frustated. But he didn't saw anger in his eyes..

The middle age man lead Eludione to his backyard where they keep their plants sustain its nutrition. It is true that the sky and earth change it's color but some of the ground with the rich soil can produce plants that can be almost perfect enough to live a sustainable life. But once this plants are forgotten to water even a single day. It would wither instantly the next morning.
The man sigh for a minute as he look at the plants he had waited for three months to grow in its green splendor... but now his perseverance is now wasted.
"Eludione... I'm very thankful for your diligence in keeping my house clean but time changes and sometimes someone win and sometimes losses . And this time. I had to let you go and the others. We dont have enough money to keep ourselves... My wife is very angry about this... I hope you understand" He said to which he caught the soaked hands of Eludione and put something between them.
"Eludione i'm sorry but this is what i can afford for now... have a safe walk to home" He said before he stand up and sigh as he walk out of the backyard to his house. Eludione look at his palm to which he found a bronze coin which make him felt worse. After he had been humiliated for something ridiculous and now they didnt paid him the right salary. he was angry but he let his mind understand their situation.
Eludione didn't do anything for a moment until he decided to stand up and walk away towards the poor side of the city. As he walk for a good one hour. He stumble upon a group of men with armor and swords as they shouted to the crowds. Gaining their attention as they flock toward them.
