When DX woke up from his drug-induced sleep, he noticed that the blood transfusion IV was removed from him and there was a little plaster on hand. He looked at his watch and groaned, "Damn that id*ot! I'm going to kill him!"
It was almost 1 p.m., which meant that he had been away from Kai Xin's side for a few hours. He had only meant to take a short rest, not a real sleep! A lot of things could have happened in the last few hours! He was worried that if Kai Xin woke up and he was not there, she might think that something had happened to him.
Putting on the hospital slippers that were at the side of his bed, he quickly left the room. When he saw the two guards outside his room, he did not say anything to them and just made his way towards the ICU.
When he got back, he saw a doctor stopping everyone at the door. He recognized the doctor to be one of the doctors in the operating theatre alone.
