Today is the day of the examination. Nemesis is on his way to the Inner Sector for the Tramsarths Academy.
The current he was a bit disappointed on the things that happened in the past three days. He just sighed and continued his travel on the carriage. He rented one because it's a bit far from the Outer sector all the way to the Tramsarths Academy in the Inner sector.
After thirty minutes of journey he arrived at a fabulous gate. Many runes were engraved in the walls and the gate showing that it cannot be taken down easily. It also shows the immense power the academy represented over the years.
At the entrance, a student greeted Nemesis and the other examinees. He is tall blonde young man, probably in his twenties by his estimation, wearing a long blue robe with a crest in his left chest showing a wizard and a warrior crossing with their staff and sword and a dragon head on the middle.
He introduced himself as Pyrravyn Pajyre. He is a 4th year Mage student and is currently assigned in taking the examinees to the examination grounds.
They were led into an open area with training dummies. A school teacher then takes over now and explained what the examinations were.
"Alright children, first of all, welcome to Tramsarths Academy. My name is Aire Wynlamin, you can call me Professor Aire should you passed the tests later. Now, as you can see there are dummies in front of you. The only requirement for this first round is to use your most powerful magic to damage the dummy heavily or destroy it. The damage will be displayed above the dummy. Starting from white, green, yellow, orange, red, and then black. The highest score will be black or the dummies destruction, and the passing score is the orange one. Failure to do so will get you eliminated on this exam."
Hearing what the professor has just said, the crowed started to whisper to each other. As the Professor Aire saw this he then announced the start of the test to stop them from discussing further.
"Ok seeing that you brats are enthusiastic about the first test. Let's begin."
The professor then started pointing on kids to get into the platform and begin. The first kid to get on stage is a 14 year old girl. She looks a little nervous when the teacher first picked her but she calmed herself immediately. She took out a wand and started channelling a spell. The spell [Ice Spear] formed after 5 seconds.
The spell hits the dummy and displayed an orange color above. Seeing the color the girl then happily sighed in relief. The professor then congratulated her and pointer her to the side to wait for the first test to finished.
The second kid now was a male 15 year old. He used [Lightning] and it hit the dummy after 4 seconds. A red color appeared and he passed.
After seeing the first two passing students, ten students simultaneously went up stage and started channelling spells or using martial arts to damage the dummies.
Orange. Pass
Red. Pass
Yellow. Fail
Yellow. Fail
Orange. Pass
This continued for another hour. One-third of the examinees were eliminated. Then Nemesis came on stage.
He just did a snap with his fingers and a huge [Fireball] spell appeared. Seeing the fast spell casting and wand less channelling, Professor Aire's eyes went wide with surprise. The next thing he saw, astonished him.
Black. But very deep black.
The dummy has cracks all over it, signifying that it's on the verge of destruction.
The whole area went silent when this happened. But Nemesis remained his poker face then walked to the other side of the platform.
Seeing the whole area is still dazed at the moment, Professor Aire snapped them back to reality after the shouted that the exam continues. They all think that another prodigy has appeared, but what did they not realize is that Nemesis is screaming inside his head about the blunder that he had done.
He was supposed to limit his damage to an orange color. He especially tasked the system to limit his damage. What he had forgotten was to turn off [Multicast] skill. He triggered the x4 damage amplification of the skill causing the result to be deep black.
"Goddamn it. I was planning to stay low profile while studying on this academy. Now that I messed up and caught the attention of some old foxes on this academy with that performance. Shit. They'll fight over me later. Sigh. I guess I'll ride this shitshow to the end. I already started this anyways. Let's see what is in store for me when this examination ends." he screams in his mind.
Now the first test was over, Professor Aire led them to the next area. Another platform but within an arena.
At the seats were the Headmaster and the rest of the school staff. At the middle sat a woman in her forties, with the air of a powerhouse. Nemesis scanned her and the others. The Headmistress showed at Level 250, while the other staffs were Level 200-235.
Nemesis was shocked seeing that almost all the staffs that are watching including the Headmistress was over level 200.
Seeing the children's awe from these people, the Headmistress stands up and said.
"Welcome and congratulations on passing the first test. You are all now officially a student of Tramsarths Academy. Now this next part is just for assigning you on your respective sections. The sections will be divide each year on Upper, Middle, and Lower."
"The teachers below will test you to determine where sections you will be placed. You will only need to spar with them. Use magic, martial arts or whatever you want. Now start!" the Headmistress finished her speech.
"Alright kids, you heard the Headmistress. Warriors and Mages will be separately examined. We have a few hours until afternoon ends so let's start."
The section examination started and most students were place in Middle and Lower. Very few were taken to the Upper section.
Now when its Nemesis turn again, the whole area is drowned in silence again.
Nemesis is currently faced with a middle-aged man in blue robes. Seeing this man, Nemesis just
shrugged off the stares and silence of the crowed. He just focused on finishing this mundane affair.
He cast [Fly] and flew upwards and started snapping his fingers started bombarding the man with {Fireball]. He of course didn't turn off [Multicast] this time but he still limits the damage to orange level. Seeing the incoming barrage of fireballs he then cast [Ice Shield]. The fireballs hit the shield but
it just caused some damage.
Seeing what he performed they are satisfied with this, so they now assigned him to the Upper section.
The others already expected this outcome judging from the spectacle of the first test.
After the test, Professor Aire then led them to the dormitories. Each student dormitory is separated by their sections.
Nemesis got the room on the second floor. Inside is a fifty square meters wide area, it's a really nice room just for a student. The whole room fits a bedroom, study, living room, and a bathroom. The study has bookshelves on it too.
After checking the rooms, he then casted some protective spells around him and summoned his pet.
A black colored small creature appeared, with black burning eyes, a small wings on its back, and tusks on his teeth.
Yeah this is the creature he got. A pig.
To be more precise, it's a Demonic Hellfire Pig.
Although the name sounds awesome, he was still a bit down despite it's a level 50 creature. Its considered a decent pet for some people.
"Sigh. I was expecting a Dragon or something awesome like a Kyuubi. But all I got was a Pig."
