Zale's slowly woke up. His eyes adjusting to the golden color of his surroundings. Wherever Zale turned to look all he could see was buildings made of silver and gold.
He saw ancient writings and drawings of humans doing foreign movements. He went from wall to wall to examine all these drawings of humans and there life's. Zale wondered who could make such a majestic palace like Atlantis. He started wondering if maybe the stories about Gods existing were real.
Zale walked through the palace of Atlantis for what seemed like eternity. The sheer majesty and beauty Atlantis held was something a mere mortal like Zale could not comprehend. Zale had to take in the beauty he was staring at. A gold and silver palace at the bottom of the see, statues lining the walls, drawings of heavenly art, and mysterious inscriptions embedded in the floor.
Zale saw a shrine in the far distance with what seemed to be a heavenly vibe to it. The shrine was one with the water. The shrine was the most majestic building in the whole city of Atlantis. Zale traveled the whole city and didn't see anything that could rival the shrine. Zale slowly approached the shrine in the distance. When Zale got to the shrine, he saw some stairs leading up to the shrine. It wasn't many stairs, only about 20.
Zale decided to climb up the stars to check out the shrine. When Zale stepped up the first step, he felt a light amount of pressure, but something he could shrug off. Zale kept climbing for another 6 more steps, but when he reached the 8th step, he started to feel heavy. Zale knew these stairs weren't ordinary. The pressure on the 8th step meant nothing to him and he slowly ascended. He made it to the 14th step when he tried to put his foot on the 15th step that his knees started shaking. The pressure brought down by the stairs was making it hard to move.
Zale took his time to adjust to the pressure and did so for the next few steps until he was only one step away from the top. The pressure at this point was becoming something unbearable to Zale. He was closing and opening his eyes constant. Zale could barely hold on to his consciousness. The final step took hours for Zale to be able to lift up his leg and and place it on the 20th step. He only needed a bit more to reach the top, and for what seemed like days on days going past, he made the final push and with a sliver of last will was able to make it to the top of the shrine.
Zale decided to rest for a while, to let his body regain the strength it used up. Finally, Zale got up and started walking into the shrine. There inside the shrine he saw 12 separate shrines. Each portraying a mythical creature that he assumed were related to water. Zale saw the mythical Cythulu, the majestic nine headed hydra, the terrifying leviathan, the destructive black turtle, the scaly sea serpent, the hideous kraken, the ancient Loch Ness monster, the starry cancer crab, the gorgeous koi fish, angelic siren, and two creatures that he never knew of, but that were called Akhlut and Afanc respectively.
