They then left to get to Ikos home.
When Ash saw it she couldn't help but be stunned.
The house surrounded by 10 foot high Stone walls, built out of wood and metal, It looked like a mini fortress.
They were allowed into the grounds on sight.
They walked to the doors of the house and were greeted by a middle aged woman who even in age looked quite beautiful with auburn hair, brown eyes, a sharp face, and she wore a fancy garbs on.
"My son returns"
"Hello Mother"
"It's good to see you Iko"
After that his dad walked in
"How was your trip son"
"It was quite good and i now have a contract beast"
"This wolf"
"Yes"
"I don't see anything too special about it"
"That's the thing..."
At this moment Ash spoke
"Hello"
After this the room turned silent
"Did that wolf just talk"
"Yes it has intelligence equal to a human"

Iko's family was overjoyed.
Iko's father called in a servent
"Put another bed into my son's room immediately"

"I have some work to attend to so just settle in miss?"

With that Ikos parents left
Ash turned to Iko
"Lead the way"
Iko started to head deeper into the house and Ash followed behind him.
After arriving at Ikos room Ash found a mid sized room, not overly fancy with a circular carpet on a dark wood floor in each corner of the room was a bed and a side table.
"This room is quaint"
"Home sweet home"
"I'm going to take a nap"
Ash went to one of the beds and laid down and fell asleep
Iko left the room after Ash was asleep.
It was the next morning that Ash woke up and practiced mechanics for an hour before Iko woke up.
Iko got up and stretched
"Do you want to explore the city today"
"Of course"
They then got ready to leave.
But before they left Arya popped in.
"You guys going somewhere"
"Yes i am going to show Ash the city"
"Can i come"
Ash spoke first
"Sure, the more the merrier"
With that they left
Iko came up with a plan for the day
"We should get some breakfast first"
"I know a good place to eat"
Arya led them to a eatery near the house
It was a place that sold egg sandwiches
People gave ran away as they passed by and When they finally made it to the place and entered the restaurant the owner was shocked.
"Ahhhh"
An old man who was behind the counter, hid behind the counter.
"Lily is there a way to make me look normal as to not scare people"
"Yes you can shrink yourself down to the size of a normal wolf but it will lower your attack power by about 2 times while in that form"
"Why didn't you tell me this sooner"
"You didn't ask"
Lily teased Ash
"Change me to smaller size"
When Ash said that she felt the same feeling as when she shifts and she started to get small until she was the size of a normal wolf.
The old man looked over the counter again to find the large wolf had been replaced by a much smaller wolf, with this discovery he gained a little more courage, and got ready to take the groups order.
The group sat down at a table picked out what they wanted
"Can i take your order"
The old man was in front of them.
"We want 6 egg and sausage sandwich please"
Iko ordered for them.
"Coming right up"
After about 20 minutes the old man came back with the food
"Here's your food"
"Thank you"
Iko passed 2 sandwiches to each person, and they spent some time eating before giving the old man the money and leaving the restaurant.
After leaving they headed through the marketplace.
"Whoa its much larger than the market of the town we were in before"
"Of course it is as a lot of merchants bring their wares to this city"
After a little while of looking around they bought some snacks from the local vendor
While walking by a stall selling jewelry Iko stopped at looked at the jewelry before picking a necklace with a black crystal on a small metal cap.
"Why did you buy a necklace?"
"It's a secret"
"OK"
They soon reached the end of the market and were headed down a road to the spire, they soon arrived at the spire.
After arriving they found themselves in a administration office with two tellers manning counters, along with two hallways next to the counters leading further into the spire.
Iko walked up to one with a petite tan girl with green
"I need to register a contract beast"
"Ok just fill out this"
The girl handed Iko the forms which he filled out quickly

"All done"
They left the spire after that
Ash wondered about a few things
"What is deeper in the spire?"
"The residence of the city lord and the general of the fort"
"Who are they?"
"The city lord is Giana Attar of house Attar one of the noble houses in the city, and the general is Keld Ferguson, of house Ferguson"
"How strong are they"
"The city lord is at the peak of epic grade and the general is at legendary grade"
"They are so strong"
"They would have to be to get to there positions"

With that they started walking again.
