Chapter 12 - Chapter Eleven

Little things or stereotypes

that can get you through the night,

one day it will all make sense again.

There will be a day where you can say

you're okay and you mean it.

I love you but I'm letting go.

It's the only way to know

and from now on

I'll live on my own

until one day

you'll hold my lonely hand once again.

Good night baby

I want to say we'll be fine.

He decided to play an electric tune on the lyrics. People don't have to read the lyrics if the tune is catchy. It is what it is.

He chuckled a bittersweet smile. Oh forlorn. Emo aside, guess this is going to be a new hit then.

And maybe on the bright side she'll hear him, wherever she is right now.

Then he heard some distant clapping by the door and placed the guitar by the couch.

"Dude." His friend approached him with a fist bump.

"Looks like someone's inspired but I have a way to make it better."

A mischievous smile was shown as his friend picked out a red electric guitar and handed it to him. A pair of drumsticks came out from his friend's pocket and they started to play a familiar beat. Blood rushing and passions awakening, they played the song in a dancing rock beat. The music seemed livelier than usual but he preferred it that way.

Just when the music was going encore the lights went off. Power went down on the house.

'What the --' they both uttered at the same time.

"Dude did you forgot to pay the electric bill?" He friend said as they both struggle to go downstairs.

"Wow I never knew you were this poor." His friend teased again.

"Shut up and help me find the flashlight." Was all he said as they both try to search the kitchen drawers.

"I found it!" He almost jumped with joy when his friend found the flashlight. The power issue might just be the circuit breaker acting up again. So he just needs to flip some switch.

They were both headed to the power box out the door when a pale face suddenly showed up and shouted, "Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaz uuuuuuup!"

Now this might sound embarrassing but you never know when you just heard two grown up men screaming like two scared teenage girls watching a horror movie.

The screams were so high pitched it broke a glass thing somewhere around the house.

Then the face disappeared and was replaced by a maniacal laugh. Who the freakin' frack is laughing? He felt his friend move closer to his side.

"Hyung, I don't believe in ghosts but this is creepy. I'm not going to your house anymore. Next time move to a less creepy house."

His friend was scared shitless. He was scared too but then he noticed a shiny thing by the door. He saw keys.

He suddenly got an idea and whispered. "Dude do you trust me? When I say run, run."

The maniacal laugh continues.

"Run!" He shouted and they both ran to the door, took the keys and locked it.

Or so he thought.
