Chapter 105 - First Step Towards Adventure. (Epilogue)

"-Ake Up!"

Hearing a familiar voice yelling at me, I regain my consciousness.

"Alright, take this! Hyper Dive! Hyaa"

*Plomp*

Feeling something very soft and warm yet heavy pressing against me.

"Woah, hey!"

I grab hold tight of it thinking,

(I suppose this is not a bad feeling, it's so comfortable).

"Hey, rrrgh! We're gonna be late for breakfast, Sova!"

Hearing Yoo-Ah's voice I hug the soft object tighter saying:

"Uhm, hold on... Give me more time..."

"Uuu! We don't have that time and open your eyes!"

Following her instruction, I open my eyes to see Yoo-Ah in my full embrace. Remembering yesterday's topic, my eyes leers down to see her chest pressing down against mine as she looks up at me, feeling my face warming up, I quickly let her go saying:

"Wah, s-sorry!"

Backing away and getting out of bed hastily when Yoo-Ah fans her hand with a smile saying:

"Nah, it's fine! I've been surprise hugging you yesterday so hug all you want later. Cause for now! We gotta eat, and go prepare yourself! The sun's already up!"

"R-Right! I'll be quick!"

Yoo-Ah lays down on my bed merrily replying:

"Okay! Though, I hope you tone down the power. It kinda hurts."

"I'm so sorry!"

"Like I said, it's fine! Now finish quickly!"

She shoo me away as she said that I quickly reply,

"R-Right!"

I grab my clothes from the closet we share and rush to the bathroom...

(Ugh! I suppose I slept quite late as my eyes still feels tired and my head feels so heavy).

As I strip and look at the mirror, I can't help but wonder...

(What's with me today!? Get those thoughts out of your head! Still... Since we'll probably be touring the city, I wonder if Yoo-Ah knows any place that sells good cups and mugs? Oh, maybe Juha would know better since she's a noble so maybe I could ask her. On the other hand, I wonder what Yoo-Ah will show me?)

*************************************

"Yaaawn..."

Still feeling sleepy as we enter the empty lobby, Yoo-Ah looks at me saying:

"Man, what time did you sleep yesterday? Why not grab some coffee?"

"Ugh! No thanks, just give me some time I'm sure I'll be awake."

I rub my eyes as I say that when Yoo-Ah stops me. I open my eyes to see we arrive at the counter again with Min-Ah and the sleeping Min-Young behind the table again. Min-Ah seeing us two greet us by lowering her head saying:

"Good morning, Sova. Good morning, Yoo-Ah. I'm so glad you were able to find her."

As she raise her head, I lower mine replying:

"Good morning, and sorry for worrying you."

She shakes her head saying:

"It's okay, I don't know what happened but remember that your life is irreplaceable so don't hesitate to retreat or run away."

"Okay, thank you. And sorry, for missing out the dinner yesterday, I heard you're the one who cooked."

"Oh, no, its fine. The one you should apologize more is Yoo-Ah, she's the one who grab the ingredients first afer all."

I face Yoo-Ah and bow my head saying:

"I'm so sorry, now I feel even worse knowing that."

Yoo-Ah pats my shoulder and give a thumbs up saying:

"Like I said, it's fine. After what happen yesterday, I'm just glad you're alive. Anyways..."

Yoo-Ah eyes on ber target and slams the table again shouting:

*Slam*

"Morning!"

"Uwaaah! Yoo-Aaaah! I'll seriously rip your hair this time!"

Min-Young enraged by her actions tries to leap but Min-Ah grabs her by the back collar and stops her saying:

"Stop that."

Min-Young looks back at her yelling:

"Sis! More like why didn't you stop her!"

"Need I remind you how many times not to sleep in duty? There's a limit to how much I can help you, you know."

"Rrgh, stupid sis... Oh it's you."

She turns around and notice me as she says that and I lower my head saying:

"Good morning."

"Hmph! Piss off already- owie owie owie!"

Min-Ah pinches her ears as she pulls her close saying:

"Hmm!?"

"Sheesh... Sorry..."

Hearing her apologize, she lets go of Min-Yoing before she rest her arms on the lower table and chin on the upper one.

"It's okay, I don't know your circumstance but I'll try not to cause too much trouble for you."

"Hey! Sova, don't just accept her attitude!"

Min-Young points at Yoo-Ah while rubbing her red ear saying:

"Hmph, I have enough of you too! You at least deserve some respect! But I can't believe I gotta serve some Owlian from who knows where. So listen here!"

She then points at me with an annoyed look and continue saying:

"I only serve those that deserve that service. Only those worthy and powerful!"

(Sheesh...)

"I understand."

*Cring* *ring* *ring*

"Speaking of which one of such worthiness has come. Now go, shoo shoo! Maybe if you garner a name I'll consider my actions."

She push us away and as I follow along, I nod and smile confidently saying:

"Alright, just you watch then."

"Hey! Ugh! The nerve of her! Can you believe her?"

"It's fine, at least she can be reason with."

(Unlike those that can't and hurt for no other reason. Like Sis said, talk first).

"Hmph! You're too kind! Bleeh!"

Yoo-Ah mocks her by letting her tongue out as Min-Ah waves goodbye at us before we pass through a group of 3 people whereas the magician girl carries a small lizard-

(Wait a second...)

I look back for confirmation and lo and behold. A familiar boy in his teens wearing a very expensive looking gears, a similar magician girl clad in extravagant relics and charms, and a identical girl wearing a most beautiful flower patterned robe and since I'm looking from the back, I could see a painting on the back of her robe like the other nobles I saw here.

(The fudge? What are the chances lately!?)

As I stop to look at them, Yoo-Ah halts as well saying:

"What is it?"

We both look at the eye catching figures on this empty hall and Yoo-Ah ponders for a moment before hitting her palm saying:

"Oh, those two."

"You know them?"

(Now that I think about it, Abe never really told me their names or anything else. Or what's the deadline for me to bring her...)

"Yeah... Just like you, those two are a promising rookie adventurers but from the northern kingdom's branch. They're probably trying to avoid the conflict. Though unlike you it seems they didn't receive a promotion exam after joining but they've been operational for 2 years and garner their own reputation!"

"I see..."

As we walk away, I start trying to gather information by asking:

"What's their name?"

"Oh? A competitive spirit huh? That's good! I suppose since they'll be your rival it'll be good to gain an edge against them! Listen closely, Sova! The boy is Ryu San-Min, and the girl is Kim Ye-Hua along with their pet basilisk who I forgot the name. The three of them makes up the adventurer team called... Um, rice cakes..."

As we exit the dorm, I can't help but look at her full of skepticism and she looks at me dead in the eyes saying:

"No! I'm fucking serious! It seems they name it after losing to a Pioneer when they just joined. Just to be clear it's not Jin-Yeon Unnie but her colleague. They could change it by now but they didn't so stop looking at me like that! It's weird when you do it!"

"Right... So, who's the third person?"

"I don't know, probably a new member or they are just escorting her around. Anyways! Remember that! We'll be competing against them soon when you become a full-fledged adventurer! Then again his track record is just horrible with only being able to do one request or exploring yearly so his badge doesn't get revoked. I'm sure you'll surpass them no time!"

"Okay, I suppose it won't hurt to be cautious and prepared."

(For the day I defeat him and finish my mission so I can continue why I'm left in the first place... I wonder if I can just negotiate with him? But then again, I doubt they would ask me to defeat him if he can be negotiated huh?

I wonder if one week is reasonable to bring her since she's probably staying so close? And also, Abe didn't even left a clue on how to contact her... Either way, wait for me I guess).

"For your breakfast too right?"

Yoo-Ah adds to my comment and I just nod along replying:

"Yes for breakfast too."

"Great, cause today, as promised, I'll be teaching you how to cook! Time to see your Unnie in style!"

(It seems this will be a busy day as well).
