Cats like to walk thier own paths, they pick thier owner, they do what they want. Eat, sleep and don't care weather thier owner is upset about it or not.
But is that really the case all the time?

It was a rainy day in that girls town, she was going back home from school by the school bus. Her school was in a different town so everyday she'd wake up in the morning extra early just to not be late for school. She didn't mind it though, it was a school she picked by herself in which she felt she could succseed in. Her mother agreed to it.
She was a normal secondary school girl who worked hard to achive her grades and do the best she could. As any other person she'd dream of having a pet, doesn't have to be big or small; she'd be happy with any kind of animal. Maybe it was because all of her friends always talk about how they love thier pets and such; she kind of grew envy for them.
Back home she wasn't expecting much, just the usuall: food, phone and sleep. That was mostly what she liked to do. She wasn't expecting her mother to be home, or for her to have a present for her.
"Mom? What are you doing home?" I heard her say and my ears percked up.
"Welcome back darling, I have something for you." The woman holding the box I was in spoke in a happy tone.
"What do you mean?" The girl spoke as she was getting closer. "What is that?" She asked and I looked up. That's when I met her. My owner. Her eyes lit up as she stared into mine.
"It's an early present for your birthday." The girl looked up to meet her moms gaze. Before she said anything she hugged her mother with a big smile plastered on her face.
"Mom, thank you! I love you so much!" She said breaking the hug. They were both smiling but what is it in thier eyes that make them look so wierd? I never saw anything like this before. "Is it a boy or a girl? Do they have a name?" The girl started to question again. I got bored of not doing anything so to pass the time I decided to do something entertaining. Catch my tail.
"It's a kitten girl. You pick her name." Said the mom. The girl once more looked at me still with the same spark in her eyes as before.
"I'll name her... Rosey." She said as she started to reach out to me, she didn't pick me up though. Instead she stroked me gently as if I was going to fall apart at her touch. Instantly I started to purr. It seemed like the girl didn't mind me purring so I didn't stop.
I don't know why but..
I feel like this is the girl I want to be next to forever.
