'I'm telling you! I saw one!' Olivier shouted aloud as he started to walk backwards facing the two as he huffed and turned around to see where he was going.
'Yeah right, Olivier, come on just give up, you'll never find a white stag in this part of America,' Leoh had scoffed before hauling his bag up further his shoulder and used his index and middle finger to push up his glasses, his eyes averting towards Acelore before Acelore responded by turning his head away from them.
'Don't look at me,' he hissed in a breath before continuing to walk past the two, Olivier quickly following behind them. 'If you guys want to fight, do it somewhere, where I won't be listening,' he groaned as anyone could tell that he was in an even worse mood than yesterday or the day before yesterday, he always seemed aloof, intimidating and cold but not so cold that he'd have the time to talk to them, he'd usually ignore whatever was around him, even he wondered why he was even friends with those two idiots.
'Ace! Wait, we'll stop!' Olivier had taken Acelore by the wrist, almost making them drop their bag, but he quickly pulled away from them and caught his bag with his other hand, Leoh was surprised by their fast reflexes on how they managed to pull from Olivier and manage to catch his bag in time before it even touched the ground.
'Stop playing around, it's bloody annoying,' then a long silence as Acelore started to walk away until startled from Olivier's sudden burst of laughter before punching Acelore's arm playfully, Leoh flinched as they noticed how pissed Acelore looked.
'Did you just say... 'bloody'? - before annoying?!' they smacked them on the back and in return they were given a harsh uppercut from Acelore, then as soon as they parted contact Acelore walked away as Olivier stayed on the ground, his chin red but his laughter still on a loop.
'Leoh, you heard it right?!' they then chuckled before sitting themselves up and Leoh coming up from behind to help them up.
Leoh sighed and shook his head before pinching their cheek. 'If you want to die any younger, I suggest that you stop pissing off the canine?'
''That a request, Keyrick?' now, Olivier was pissing 'them' off by pronouncing their name as; Key-Ryke and not Kei-rick, almost immediately they kicked him down and left them alone, but Olivier sooner or later got back up and caught up with Leoh before they got too far.
'His birthday is tomorrow,' they whispered to Leoh before sighing then pouting. 'What should I get him...?'
'A book, a phone, headphones, a Painting, anything that's not so outdoorsy, you know what he likes, so it shouldn't be that hard.' Leoh scowled and looked up far ahead to where Acelore was walking, their jet black hair waved in the wind as their head hung low and their body posture was perfectly balanced.
Yet just as Leoh watched them walk, when they came to an opening from the wide alley they had walked through, they took a sharp right and seemed to look as though they were running away.
'Ace?' No Answer. 'Ace?!' they pronounced his name like the card as they ran down the alley and looked left to right after coming to the same opening, they weren't there, anywhere to be exact and the two paths which parted from each other seemed so long, so there was no possible way to have run off so quickly.
'What... What was that Leoh?!' Olivier came up from behind them as they spun around and turned to them, grabbing them by their collar and shaking them.
'Skip the Ice cream, we're going to Acelore's house!' they sounded determined like a knight, Olivier didn't dare question them when their sapphire eyes burned like fire. 'Let's go!' they took them by the arm and started to drag them along.
Acelore sat in his bed, looking around his room for something to play with before his parents came back home, his eyes were attracted to his black trench coat his father gave him but, it wasn't the coat that interested him, it was what was inside the pockets that interested him, he reluctantly stood up and stretched his arms up as he yawned and picked up his jacket from his study desk and threw it onto the bed, he went through the two front pockets, the left one had a lollipop inside of it so he didn't bother and he just placed it back inside, then the right had an eye patch
He remembered the day that he used the trench coat to be a pirate, a stylish one at that, he also recalls Olivier being a parrot and he got feathered earrings just to be Acelore's parrot, and which they will wear today, and yet they constantly jumped on them, but Leoh was the only one who didn't go with their theme and they were a librarian - said Olivier - but he was actually a famous philosopher; John Langshaw Austin - corrected by Acelore -.
Inside of the coat, on the right, the two pockets, the bottom had a few pounds - three bundles - rolled in his pocket, then eight shillings, he didn't bother with it anyway, it was an old currency but it could've had some use if he ever went to a 'country-that-uses-pounds', yet the top left had nothing inside of it, but then he forgot his breast pocket; checking it quickly, there was a pen, he placed it back inside as he checked back to the left side of his pockets, on the bottom-inside pocket he felt something hard and cold, circular with a silver chain attached to it, as if it was a necklace with an oversized pendant.
'Shit, Holy- ...Shit!' he hissed loudly as he sat back on his bed and looked at, all the memories of this watch started to build in his mind if he was right, it had been only two months since he's resigned from using the stopwatch, but he was tempted to use one more time.
He started swinging the pocket watch with his index finger, his eyes followed the watch; up down and around, not for a second did they take their eyes off the watch, until it randomly flipped open and flung to the ground, only a few metres away from his door, yet suddenly as he stood up to pick it up again he flinched as he quickly reached for the watch, but he heard his window slide open instantly and as he turned around, he tripped himself, grabbing whatever was around him which was his leather coat, falling on the ground and lying on his stopwatch, hearing a crack as he instantly knew that it broke.
'Acelore!' Olivier jumped through the window after Leoh came tumbling onto Acelore as Olivier landed on their back. 'You're okay!' Acelore gave them a disgusted look and snarled like the canine he was.
'What the heck are you guys-?' the was cut off after he heard a loud ringing noise rang through his ears, and not just him, but Leoh and Olivier, but Leoh seemed to fight it off well. 'What the...?' Then they were gone, the only thing left was Olivier's left feathered-earring.
