Chapter 140 - An Abrupt End To The Fourth Plane

After the event that would be forever known as the Paramount War of Marineford, Chojusen decided to hang around Luffy. This lovable idiot was quite the talented fighter and he never did anything Chojusen himself wouldn't do, so passing his time training while adventuring with Luffy was bound to be exciting.

Chojusen and Luffy left Ace to return to the Whitebeard Pirates and gained an ally in Whitebeard as a result. Now, Chojusen was stuck thinking of ways to get Luffy's crew back together; he feared that life just wouldn't be interesting without all these weird people Luffy had collected throughout his pirate adventure.

However, the rubber body actually told Chojusen that they would come to meet each other when the time was right. Luffy told Chojusen about the crippling loss he and his crew suffered right before the events of the Paramount War, all because they were weak and how he thought it would be a good idea to separate for a while to get stronger before regrouping.

Chojusen nodded in approval to another round of torturo… hardcore training and even volunteered to coach Luffy, now they only needed a place and Hancock, who had been with them through this whole time, suggested a crazy island full of monstrous beasts. "Ay, monsters are good, so set sail~"

Before leaving though, Luffy used some sort of code to tell his crewmates his plan through the news; honestly, Chojusen had no idea what transpired or how Luffy, this rubber idiot, could have come up with a code.

For the next two years, Chojusen in his infinite teaching wisdom turned Luffy into someone more or less on his level; but only with regards to the Dao of Will. Luffy would still be completely shut down if Chojusen transformed into any of his bloodline incarnations. Chojusen couldn't believe how talented Luffy was for the Dao of Will; it was practically tailor made for him.

Throughout these two years, Hancock would often visit the island that house two of the strongest people alive and Chojusen — after going through through three planes and getting chased around be all the girls — finally made the effort to swoon Hancock, in a somewhat normal way. Hancock had already shown a rather good disposition to him during the Paramount War and through these two years, so Chojusen naturally wouldn't reject yet another god-tier beauty from entering his love life.

After the two years were up, Luffy explained what his code meant and both he and Chojusen went to the Sabaody Archipelago to regroup with Luffy's crewmates. The reunion was shocking to Chojusen as everyone in the group looked almost completely different, but some people — Luffy included — barely even noticed.

From thereon, more insane adventures took place in an even more thrilling and exciting part of the world; the second half of the grandline, the New World. Stopping a mad scientist, dethroning a tyrant pirate king, even fighting in a grand coliseum were just some of the small highlights of the adventure.

The more important highlights, were moment that defined Chojusen's life in the fourth plane. Moments like the time he and the Straw Hat Pirates entered an alliance with the Mink Tribe to take down one of the four Yonko; Kaido. During his time working to complete the goals of this alliance, Chojusen and a girl named Carrot of the mink tribe, bonded and also became lovers.

When they consummated their relationship, Chojusen had to watch as Carrot tearfully and sorrowfully explained some of the things she had seen in the past, which caused her to be so hostile to intruders. Things like World Nobles taking her fellow Mink tribesmen as slaves just because they felt like it, or how other minks would just be treated a sex slaves. Chojusen heard about the horrors of some of these Celestial Dragons, Big Mom, and Kaidou, and he almost broke out of his act to follow Luffy around, just to annihilate all these people. However, he quickly calmed down, hugged Carrot and knowing told her everything would be better in the future.

Just like he said, Luffy and his crew quickly grew to the level needed to dispatch all these undesirables and after a couple more years of adventuring, everything Chojusen said came true. Anticlimactically though, was the fact that Chojusen completed his Dao of Will before the end of the adventure was in sight; he had been training with temporal acceleration, so his total time training in the fourth plane amounted to well over fifty years.

With his Dao of Will complete in the fourth plane, Chojusen essentially became god. His will could manifest outside of his body and could even support his "mortal soul" to become immortal. If he were placed in the sixth plane with his Dao of Will alone, Chojusen could step on Supreme Daolords of the fourth step as if they were ants.

Chojusen chose to view this in a positive manner, he thought 'Well, if I'm done before the adventure concludes, that just means I get to have more fun down here while my next avatar goes on his adventure in the plane up above.'

Chojusen excused himself from Luffy's group for a couple weeks and underwent his fusion before sending another avatar to the fifth plane. When he started bringing in people from the lower planes up, he would only bring in a couple at a time and teach them the Dao of Will personally, before retrieving another batch.

A phantom image of Chojusen appeared in the fifth plane. Thankfully, he didn't appear in a forested area again. Instead Chojusen appeared in what looked to be a bustling city, but that wasn't what set him off. Rather, it was the odd connection that most of the planes had. Up until now, only the third plane of Soul Cultivation had a language system Chojusen had to learn, but the rest were full of people who spoke Japanese; it was weird to say the least…

Chojusen stopped gawking at the flashing lights of movement shuttle around him and started his last talk with the system about getting cheat-like abilities. Unfortunately, Chojusen hadn't finished his adventure in the fourth plane, so naturally he had not encountered a "final boss" type scenario to give him ridiculous quantities of shop points. However, it turns out he didn't need any more cheats as he would be more than prepared for anything this world of pure martial arts had in store for him.

"Mhmm… So you're saying I just need to train for energy collection and body refining to become invincible?"

[Uh… Yeah. I gave you a more detailed description, but your explanation works too...]

"Alrighty then, I guess I can just use my Daos to reform a body."

[Yes...]

And so began another over-the-top beginning to one of Chojusen's adventures. He used his Dao of Creation, Yin, and Yang to create his body and some clothes, but before he could finish, he was swarmed by people in martial arts clothes who floated in the sky, there were also some odd alien-like men next to martial artists.

Everyone watched as Chojusen's body manifested, and once he was done, a well built man with rough hair called out to Chojusen. He said "Hey! Are you super strong?"

Admittedly, Chojusen didn't expect anyone to notice his manifestation as no one before had, but even then, this first question asked to him in his situation was too bizarre for him to respond to.

Before Chojusen could respond, one of the weird alien men, a purple dog man in Egyptian clothes, said "Mhmm? How'd you come into my universe?"

The blue-skinned man next to the purple dog man also had a serious expression on his face as he said "He must have ascended from the lower planes..."

"An ascender?! Oh god… what do we do?!" The purple dog man started to freak out.

"We better report this to the King of All… He's also an ascender if I recall correctly..."

The purple dog man and the blue-skin man both left in a hurry, leaving Chojusen behind to deal with all these new random people. Chojusen talked with these people and sort of understood who they were. Apparently the first thing he came across after entering the fifth plane were the strongest beings… worst of all, one of the more powerful martial artists in this group wanted to fight Chojusen just for fun.

Chojusen agreed to have a fight since he had access to his energy and Daos. His energy might be severely lacking right now, but with his Daos alone he should be able to at least hold his own weight in a fight.

The fight started and for the first time in his life, Chojusen lost more than just "miserably;" he was utterly outclassed. All his fancy Daos and tricks were completely overwhelmed by this "Goku's" Ki-based martial arts. Chojusen could only support 10% of his full strength by relying on Daos, but that wasn't enough to even challenge 1% of Goku's true strength as the latter later revealed that he too had extra forms.

Good thing this Goku wasn't hell bent on making Chojusen an enemy and instead invited him to be a sparring buddy. If that weren't the case, Chojusen would have to rely on his Dao of Space to flee to train before coming back for revenge.
