Chapter 131 - The Path Forward

Snowjade and Chojusen hit it off right from the get go. They had very likewise personalities and were equality talented; of course, having the system made this comparison void. This new duo chatted for quite a while — well over several weeks — before Chojusen's Omniforce avatar woke up from its meditation and informed Chojusen that everyone was ready to depart; Kaguya had completed her meditation a day before the avatar while Rias had been up for well over a week.

Chojusen was torn on this issue. On one hand, he could now continue his journey and continue to get the experience he needed. But on the other hand, he would no longer be able to chat up his new buddy Snowjade. Chojusen had already invited Snowjade to join their party, but that madlad said it wouldn't suit his style!

He went on and on about adventures having to push you to your limits, that way you would improve the most. Travelling with Chojusen and Libo — two Autarch level combatants — would make any adventure Snowjade had become worthless in his eyes, so he could only tearfully reject this invitation and separate from Chojusen.

But before leaving, Chojusen gave his new friend a dais he had created with his Reality, Artifacting, Alchemy, Formations, and Construct Daos; it was one of his signature creations! Chojusen had already crafted several of these Clearmind Soulsweeping Dais for himself and his party members to increase their perception and comprehension speed innumerable times, and now he made another one for Snowjade.

If not for these insane Dais, Chojusen's avatar, Rias, and Kaguya would surely take centuries if not millennia in each special domain to siphon out all the insights they could get; and this was all under temporal acceleration! Even with the Dais which could be considered one of the best, if not THE best, cultivation treasure known to man, Chojusen's party still needed their temporal acceleration at max — about 1000x faster than real time — to get their results.

Chojusen's avatar was even more demanding. He was practically paving the way for future Reality Dao practitioners as a real progenitor of a Dao. Thus his cultivation was trillion fold harder than the rest, but as a plus, the avatar could operate both its Reality Domain and Spacetime Omega Dao to accelerate time by over a billion times; this number would only increase as Chojusen matured his Reality Dao.

Now, even though these numbers might be scary and foreign at first, Chojusen didn't mind spending the equivalent of several hundred million years or longer each time he settled down to cultivate, as his breakthrough to realize the Dao of Reality made him experience a literal eternity. If there was anything you couldn't call Chojusen, that would be "impatient."

Now, Jadesnow took the supreme Dais from Chojusen and half-heartedly put the treasure in his estate treasure, not at all realizing what kind of tremendous boon had been gifted to him. Jadesnow and Chojusen shared a farewell hug and they left for their separate ways.

Chojusen sighed as he watched Jadesnow's silhouette fade into the horizon, before turning to pick up Libo and Marshadow, who had long since stopped caring about Chojusen's interactions with Jadesnow and had started their own dumb little game of Rock Papers, Scissors. When Chojusen found the two knuckleheads, they had thrown their hands resulting in Marshadow winning with a Papers against Rock hand.

Marshadow said "Ha! And you call my an idiot? I win, 568,999 to 568,998." He saw Chojusen approach from the sidelines, saying "Chojusen's here so no more rounds! I'm the god of Rock, Papers, Scissors!"

Chojusen couldn't really blame these two for having their million round bout of silly Rock, Papers, Scissors. Immortals at their level had learned to cope with having an infinite lifespan; if they hadn't their weak-willed Dao Hearts would have caused them to die.

Chojusen nodded at Marshadow's childlike behavior and convinced both him and Libo to follow him back to the voidspace bubble where Kaguya, Rias, and his avatar were waiting. Everyone entered the Final Shuttle and blinked once before facing the waiting party.

Now that the party had regrouped, they continued their adventures in the Voidstar Gate. A couple more years passed before Chojusen made it to the core region and saw the actual Gate. There, he could see only the most supreme of Daolords and Emperor level figures silently meditate before a titanic shrine-like Gate.

This actual Voidstar Gate was suspended in the center of the River of Time, and Space, Time, Void, Darkness, Nihility, and Star Dao insights slowly cascaded down through the River from this magical source. Even when Chojusen looked at the Gate he could feel the countless mysteries of Spacetime illuminate in front of him.

Before this amazing Natural Construct, Chojusen decided to make his breakthrough to the Daolord stage. He could feel that the insights from this Voidstar Gate would only inspire chaos among his otherwise organized and clean Omega Daos, and only a breakthrough to the first Step of the Daolord Realm would alleviate this problem, if he were to start gaining such extreme quantities of insights.

Chojusen entered his personal dimension and began the process of increasing the size and quantity of his Dao Tree and Godgems respectively. Naturally, when Chojusen had broken through to the World God level, his Dao Tree had reached the max size, at 108,000 meters tall, and his godgems totalled to 36,000.

Now upon making this breakthrough to the Daolord Stage, shock appeared on Chojusen's face. His Dao Tree… His Godgems… they barely increase in size or quantity. His breakthrough was a success and his foundation remained as stable as ever, but his Dao Tree only grew five mesley meters. And his godgems? He only received one more godgem. ONE!

Naturally since his breakthrough was so… sad, he didn't have to even waste chaos cubes to regenerate the energy spent increasing the size of his Dao Tree or the quantity of godgems.

Chojusen scrambled to solve this problem within his mind, but nothing he thought of made any sense. Given that he already possessed complete control over the Ultimate Omega Reality Dao, he should have been able to directly rise up to Autarchy. But look at him. His pitiful breakthrough yielded such abysmal results. It would seem more likely that he would be stuck in the Daolord stage for the rest of his 108,000 chaos cycle long lifespan.

Nothing Chojusen thought of would help his situation, but his overpowered abilities still remained, so for the slightest moment in time, Chojusen didn't really care if he was going to be stuck as a Daolord until his death. Of course, this was just a trick fate wanted to play on him. Thus, right after having this thought and returning to his lax adventure, Chojusen immediately noticed what the problem was.

As soon as he returned to start his meditation on the Voidstar gate, his mind almost shattered as a typhoon's worth of insights flooded through his mind at an ever increasing pace. His previous discomfort at the World God level insisting on him making a breakthrough had its purpose revealed almost immediately and Chojusen had to strike himself out of his meditation state, else he might accidentally wound his soul.

After taking a second to catch his breath, Chojusen understood exactly what had transpired. First, both his body and his Dao of Reality were insisting on him making a breakthrough as he had already gotten all the insights he needed for the World God stage; he actually received more than what he was suppose to get as shown by the slight increase to his Dao Tree and Godgems upon breaking through to the Daolord stage.

In retrospect it was obvious that his path being a pioneer of a new Dao would not be like the rest. All the other Daos people practiced in were already fully mature, so they would obviously see a massive increase to their cultivation after breaking through from the World God stage to the Daolord stage. But Chojusen? He now knew that he was suppose to take things one step at a time. Reaching the peak of World God, then the peak of Daolord, Emperor, and finally Autarchy.

Yes, he had the Omega, the Ultimate Omega, and even the Ultimate Prime Essence, but it would be up to him to build all three of these factors up alongside himself.

Now that he had broken through to the Daolord Stage, Chojusen's Omega Dao of Reality had entered a new level. A level that allowed for improvement, and standing within in meditation rage was a titanic Gate containing most if not all of the mysteries of various Daos. Naturally, the newly advanced Dao happily devoured all these insights and slowly upgraded itself through Chojusen as a medium. Chojusen being seated on his cultivation Dais only exaggerated the progress.
