Rest? Who needs rest? Chojusen certainly didn't need any rest; his Jindan was comparable to the Chaosworld region of Daolords… Moreover, since his attacks primarily drew their power from his extremely overpowered Omega Daos, he barely used any energy while sustaining them. His Chaosfiend Scale Mail form didn't draw any energy from him as it was more like his true form, rather than a transformation, and Chi Sage Mode amplified his strength based on his lifeforce; it was practically fueled by his Omega Yang Dao.
Unfortunately, the messages where automated; no amount of complaining would get it to send the final wave sooner. Thus, Chojusen used 10 seconds to recover what little energy he had used to decimate all the earlier waves and the rest of the 59 minutes and 50 seconds were wisely spent drawing pictures on some sand Chojusen conjured.
When the time for the last fight came, no more World Gods appeared, rather a single squadron of 5 Daolords of the second step appeared encasing three more Daolords of the third step. "... Seriously? Is anyone even capable of completing these tests aside from me?"
What Chojusen didn't know was that the person who built these tests never imagined that a mere Ancestral Immortal would make it this far; the tests for the golden throne were made with the preconceived notion that only Daolords would make it this far… Chojusen was actually taking this test that was meant for cream of the crop tier Daolords of the first step to complete…
Chojusen sighed once more and activated his Chaosfiend Scale Mail, Heartforce World, as well as Chi Sage Mode, in preparation for the final bout. It was after the Daolord level holograms made their first moves that Chojusen found out that they no longer used Nihility Dao techniques, like the previous nine waves of enemies. Rather, the five outer Daolords of the second step used Fire, Water, Earth, Metal, and Wood Daos, while the three Daolords of the third step used Yin, Yang, and Chaos Daos and they were assembled in an "All Things Battle Formation;" things were not looking too good for Chojusen…
Right off the bat, Chaosfiend Scale Mail and Chi Sage Mode started losing to this impressive line up almost immediately. The fifty times the speed of light movement speed Chojusen used previously wasn't enough to throw the formation into disarray; there would always be one Daolord that managed to block any sneak attack, he might have thrown. But even if did manage to win in terms of speed, Alpha Strike could at most damage Daolords of the first step. Not only were these Daolords above that level, they all held Supreme Fused Daos, making them able to punch above their league; they could hold a regular Eternal Emperor down.
Chojusen used all the Daos in his arsenal, but his enemies were just too far ahead in terms of cultivation, for even his Omega Daos to be of use. Moreover, these eight Daolords had a perfect defense set up. They had practitioners of the Five Elements, Yin, Yang, and Chaos. No one Dao Chojusen used would be enough to dismantle this impregnable defense.
Chojusen fought for a minute with no results, and he almost went on to activate his Fiendgod Butterfly Sage Mode atop all these other forms, even if his body couldn't support it, just to get this over with, but they he noticed that his Chaos Dao was just barely tipping over the realm of Omega. His Primalfiend avatar was always hard at work, studying the Dao of Chaos; this fight was just the catalyst he needed to push himself. He immediately threw the idea of using another form out of his head and focused on using Chaos attacks.
Chaos, or Grandmist, had many uses, but Chojusen for the most part used it to amplify the effects of Density Duplication. Grandmist was the densest material possible; just a small inch cubed block of pure grandmist weighed several billion kilograms. Infusing these "density" principles over his Density Duplication skill, made Chojusen a true tank, and now that his Chaos Dao was approaching Omega, his body was constantly approaching that pure grandmist state.
Chojusen discarded all his energy attacks, only rushing up against his Daolord opponents with his Omega Staff Dao and his ever increasing Chaos Dao. One man, one staff, using blunt force to crush everything in sight. His attacks still weren't able to deal significant damage to the Daolord's mighty formation, but at least now they were starting to get pushed back.
Clang! Clang!! Clang!!! His body was getting denser and the density was increasing at an exponential rate. His staff's blows started leaving dents in the armor of his Daolord enemies, then the dents started getting deeper and deeper, until finally, one of the Daolords had his spine snap and was blown out of the formation.
Chojusen's Fiendgod eyes narrowed at this chance and he didn't hesitate to take advantage of this situation. He didn't notice, but his body had, right then and there, crossed over to Omega Chaos; if he became any denser, he would surpass the schwarzschild radius for his volume and become the singularity of true celestial black hole. Chojusen retained his agility and speed, but his mass had reached the absolute limit; he was like a walking disaster.
Now covered in grey grandmist, Chojusen's Chaosfiend form seemed to come to life and he suddenly roared like a madman. He charged through the Daolord's who were disoriented and instantly swiped the five elemental Daolords of the second step into oblivion; their futile attempts to hit him with elemental attacks only fueled his Chaos rampage.
Chojusen's Heartforce world then concentrated on the Yin Daolord of the third step, making him more sluggish than before, allowing Chojusen to claim his life as well. After Yin was Yang, and finally the Chaos Daolord also died to the overwhelming power of Chojusen's Omega Staff.
Chojusen then stood there, adrenaline pumping through his body, reminding him once more of how great it was to take part in these thrilling fights. His body slowly turned back to normal and his lifeforce returned back to the core of his body, no more grandmist covered his body, and his eyes were in their regular hazelnut hue.
Chojusen reappeared in the red carpeted hallway of the Doomview castle. Now the Archon golem known as Solejin had nothing but fear when his gaze descended on Chojusen. He had just watched Chojusen pass a test designed for only the most supreme of Daolords of the first step. If this Ancestral Immortal rose to the Daolord level, wouldn't he just be invincible?
After being stared at for a solid ten seconds, Chojusen gave off a couple coughs to get the golem back in working conditions. Solejin still eying Chojusen as if he were dangerous beyond compare, slowly walked up to him and handed him a couple more godgems; these godgems were filled with all sorts of divine abilities, but none of these divine abilities could hold a candle to what Chojusen was capable of with his Omega Daos.
After receiving these godgems and several rare natural treasures, Chojusen found out that the golden throne was not the end of the tests this Doomview Castle had in its arsenal. Upon completing the test of the golden throne, the Achron golem teleported himself and Chojusen to a new room. This room was white through and through, with only a silver platinum throne with several rare jewels embedded in it, positioned in the center of this white space.
The golem actually leaked out hints of excitement as it told Chojusen "After completing the three tests of Divine, Ki, and Heartforce, you will have one year to cultivate here. Do your best to finish before the time limit runs out..." This was a very cryptic message. Cultivate? Why???
Chojusen couldn't even ask a single question before the Achron left him alone in the room; well, he still had Marshadow lazing around on his shoulder. In any case, there was a new throne to explore and analyze, so Chojusen went straight to business.
He actually spent over five hours studying the platinum throne before managing to understand its purpose. This throne wasn't like the previous bronze, silver, and golden incarnations, which would send him to a test realm of Ki, Divine, and Heartforce. Rather, it seemed to gather all forms of energy and increase… perception? Or was it comprehension speed? Chojusen would only know after sitting down and testing it out for himself.
More interestingly than that was the fact that the throne actually didn't have a treasure spirit; it was very odd for something of its caliber. Chojusen sat on the throne and immediately felt his head clear up and new information surfaced.
He faintly heard chimes in the air, even though he was sure that nothing was making a noise in the white room. A whisper said to him "All returns to one..." this phrase was repeated almost as if it were on a loop, so long as Chojusen stayed seated on the platinum throne. At first Chojusen could barely hear it, but the longer he stayed still, the louder and more hypnotic this chant became and at some point, Chojusen entered a trance. When he would leave this state, no one knew.
