Out of the Dimensional Gap, in a vast array of mountain and forest terrain, all the combatants under the demigod level fought their own separated battle. Several lesser gods from the various pantheons fought against Chojusen's allies.
Some of the major powerhouses on Chojusen's side included: Vali, Riser, Asia, Akeno, Azazel, Barakiel, Shemhazai, Michael, and Gabriel. Their main enemies were: Freya, Baldur, Vidar, Hera, Athena, Apollo, Vishnu, Ganesha, and Enma.
As all these Super Class level fighter fought, an even weaker group of combatants fought as well. People like Rias, Koneko, Kiba and Gasper who were extremely powerful, but not Super Class, mopped the floor with the cannon fodder from the enemy side.
With Chojusen's help, Gasper could now control his Forbidden Balor View and when he used that ability in conjunction with Rias' large scale magic attacks and Kiba's speed, the three of them eliminated enemies by the thousand, every moment.
As all these battles took place, on an isolated part of the battlefield, Koneko was currently shivering and shaking like the world was an icy abyss. Before her was a woman with black hair. This woman also had cat ears and two tails.
Koneko said "Kuroka..."
Kuroka looked at Koneko, her eyes held back her emotions, but some warmth could be seen. She said "Koneko, you should just come back to me."
"No… n-not after what you did! You… you!"
Kuroka interjected "I what? Do you even know what actually happened?"
"You killed our master! You became a stray devil! Worst of all you… abandoned me..."
Kuroka held back her desire to let a single tear escape her eyes and said "That's what you've been told! You never got to hear my side of the story!"
As they spoke a King Class grunt of the enemy army tried to sneak attack Koneko. She didn't even turn around, Koneko sent a punch in the general direction of the danger and the grunt flew across the battlefield with a mangled body. She said "Yeah? What would you kill our master out of the blue if it wasn't because you got drunk off the Sage Arts?"
Kuroka also killed off a couple grunts as she responded. She said "Why? Our master was scum that conducted experiments on his servants! You don't know what kind of horrible things he did to me, in the name of science. When he set his eyes on you, I obviously lost it and killed him off."
Neither of the two cat-girls gave an ounce of respected to the dozens of low-level enemy soldiers that tried to kill them. They just continued with this melodramatic display in the midst of a divine war. Koneko wouldn't just automatically agree with Kuroka just because she gave a pitiful story and right now, the situation was escalating as more and more grunt focused on them.
When Emperor Class enemies started surrounding the two cat-girls they had to stop their chat and fight seriously. One or two Emperor Class enemies would not need much of their attention, but they were being sieged by dozens upon dozens of these enemies. From Koneko's side a wild Kiba appeared and cut down a couple hundred Emperor Class enemies. Kuroka also received support from a monkey-man travelling on a flying cloud; the monkey-man cleared hundreds more with his extending staff.

Off to another side of the battlefield, Asia was currently being pressured by Vishnu. At her current pace, even with all her magical halberd attacks, she would sooner or later lose. She swiped the god of protection with her halberd covered in space law principles, directly cutting through the void. However, this Vishnu was a master of defense and could block Asia's attacks with his bare hands.
As he caught Asia's halberd, he locked her down for just long enough to let a fellow god, Ganesha, land a blow. Ganesha had been fighting with the Archangel Gabriel and managed to slip through one of her attacks and appear between Vishnu and Asia after Vishnu gave him a signal.
After she started fighting her identity as a Chaosfiend could not be hidden, as all her serious attacks required a bit of stimulation from her bloodline. Thus killing Asia became another goal the lesser gods needed to accomplish; it was the reason, these two gods took this gamble.
As Asia was about to take a direct — and probably fatal — attack, Riser teleported in front of her and took all the damage himself. After Chojusen let him experience an Immortal Awakening, his power shot up to the higher levels of the Super Class, and with that strength, his complete immortality would now be effective even against Super Class beings.
After experiencing what would otherwise be certain death, Riser condensed a spear of immortal fire in his hands and impaled Ganesha, who had been attached to him after jamming his sword through Riser's body. Riser's spear combusted and roasted Ganesha from the inside out, and the he kicked him off; his own terrible injury was consumed in Immortal Phoenix flames and promptly returned to normal.
Gabriel stabbed a holy light spear through Ganesha's head from the top to his bottom and vaporized him into nothing. She then teleported over to Riser's side and helped him fend of Vishnu. When Asia regained her mobility, she jumped back into the fight and countered Enma. Enma had been fighting with Riser before he saved Asia. Just like Gabriel followed Ganesha, Enma followed Riser.
However, now the situation had changed, it was now skewed in Asia's favor as they had three people against only two. Enma and Vishnu were gods that excelled at defense, so even though they were over run in a two vs three battle, they held on.

Koneko, Kiba, Kuroka, and the monkey-man — Bikou — were about to finish killing off the endless army of Emperor Class grunts that came their way. However, from the skies a new set of challengers approached them! From the void, fallen angels Kokabiel and Samael were accompanied by Archangels Uriel and Raphael; along with these Super Class beings several minions such as Freed appeared as well.
After Kokabiel had been captured by Azazel when he tried to attack Chojusen, he had been locked up in the Cocytus of the Grigory dimension. However, when the war started, some of the pure angels that didn't believe in Michael, betrayed him and chose to unseal Kokabiel and Samael to create a unified heaven of pure and fallen angels after they won the war. The Biblical God had already died and Michael was spurring them on for what seemed like total annihilation, so they chose to be pragmatic and work together with high ranking exiled fallen angels to still have bit of say after the war concluded.
As Kiba saw Freed appear, he dashed toward him with hypersonic speed. Using his sword birth, Kiba summoned dozens of demonic swords and shot them at Freed from all angles. Kokabiel raised his hand summoning ten beams of light to cancel out Kiba's swords. Kokabiel smirked as he gazed upon Kiba and he said "Now, now. Lets not get hasty."
Before he could continue, Vali teleported to defend his friends. Vali's face couldn't be seen as he had his Balance Breaker activated, but right now he was deathly concerned, as he knew that there was no way he could handle four mid to high ranking Super Class beings by himself. He had just managed to cripple Apollo, thinking optimistically about his side's progress; these four newcomers rained on his parade.
Vali looked at Kuroka, underneath his dragon armor he made a pained face. He said "You know what you need to do to win this fight..."
Kuroka knew fully well how bad the situation just became, she knew that following through with Vali's thoughts would cripple her for life, if she was lucky of kill her outright, if she were unlucky. But, right now, if she didn't go all out, not only would she die, all her allies would die. She couldn't have that happening; especially since Koneko was in the vicinity.
Kuroka took a deep breath and summoned her Sage Seal. This was the source of her cultivated sage power; all of her sage arts and most of her power came from this Sage Seal. In normal fights, the Sage Seal would appear behind her in an incorporeal form, allowing her to launch attacks from its domain.
However, now, the Sage Seal became tangible and corporeal. Kuroka clenched her fist so tight, her nails dug into her flesh leaking out blood and smashed her fist on the Sage Seal. The Sage Seal cracked into shards and fell down onto her body. All of its powers culminated directly onto her body and a new miniature seal appeared on her forehead. Her powers shot up directly to the peak of the Super Class.
Vali unleashed his Juggernaut Drive and joined Kuroka as a fellow peak-tier Super Class Devil. He took a gamble and used Half Dimension right out the bat against Uriel. It was highly unexpected for someone to launch a finisher attack before probing the enemy, so Uriel didn't react on time and was consumed by a black hole.
Using Half Dimension always drained Vali, but he hadn't been slacking off while Chojusen and company trained. Thus he could use that attack a couple more times before collapsing from exhaustion. Now that he and Kuroka only had to deal with three Super Class beings, the situation became more balanced.
